No, Hunt is still on the 4th line. They needed the roster spot for Sandin and Anderson was an emergency call up and didn’t need to clear waivers to go back down - Canada Cup
i actually forgot Anderson wasn't dressing last few games.. oversight on my end

…..Leafs may opt for smaller moves at trade deadline! No kidding Sherlock! Dubas is Mr. small moves! Other teams like Boston and Tampa swing for the fences every year while the Leafs settle for small moves and a 1st round exit! Yes this year will be no different. - Bullot
sure, lets trade marner or matthews to appease fans like you

He was very limited when he was with us the last time. Has he been drinking from the fountain of youth?
Still early to add and I'm sure Dubas is looking, But I think we can all agree we can do better than JVR. - Leafsmart
Probably correct, he is still a LW scorer, unlike Barbashev who has 16 points playing RW top six minutes and 1st unit PP. Last time I checked RW is ok for top 3 spots.
Have to admit that I'm not missing Mikey like I thought we would. Got the depth now to more than make up for his absence. - Leafsmart
Yeah once again letting guys like that go isn't any concern each year.
I recall when JVR was walking to free agency and people here were concerned "who would replace his 30 goals?!"
Never a doubt that this team could score. People should be prepared for some changes again this off season. Dubas will make similar ones letting players walk and bringing in new guys OR a new GM will let a bunch go to make his own stamp on the team.

Keefe loves him as one of the natural centres - Canada Cup
A bit early to say, but I like what I've seen of Holmberg so far. That said, I don't think he's a top six on this team. Knies could be a top six, also too early to say. Hard to say even with improved D, where the Leafs should add. IMO, it is still on defense. It will depend on whether there are any significant injuries to deal with at the TDL.

The biggest question mark for walking will probably be Bunting. He's on pace for about 60 points and for me is the most likely salary cap casualty for the Leafs. As you say, there will be several players moving in the offseason. I don't see Kerfoot coming back.

Thought I read something about Bunts looking at a longer deal to make the $ work.

He's a valuable piece IMO, but if he's offered similar money to what Mikeyev got, can the Leafs do that? This is why draft picks and those three year entry level deals on good prospects are important.

I like bunting but when you’re playing with Matthews and nylander/Marner I feel like a lot of guys can make it work. Maybe even knies steps into that role next year.
