Unfortunate end to a well played game. That's weak D on the game winner though. Said it before and will say it again... No team is usually playing three controlling pushing the play periods in the league, especially not vs Bruins and the Bruins rarely do 3 themselves.

Dead on balls accurate.

I don't think it was a steam thing. I call it push back from an elite team. Gained momentum from their 1st goal.

I think Sully mangled it with his 7D. Bluegs and McGinn with 11mins. Kap with 7. Bench was shortened at the drop of the first puck. Tojo called it.

I'd say Jarry would of had the first one... No goalie in the history of the league could of saved the 2nd one unless they aggressively pockecheck Hall cutting across, preventing the rebound shot and rebound at all, which is kinda ill advised in the first place haha

Pens just went toe to toe with the best team in league while missing Tanger and Petry on the right side and Jarry leaving in 1st. Bruins showed why they're best team in the 3rd. One more second of time and that goes to OT.

Pens can’t close out games. I think I saw a stat last week that they have more blown leads this year already than they had all season long last year.

He definitely shouldn't be shortening forwards mins when only dressing 11.

Yeah it happend a lot before the 15-3-2 run, a run in which they came from behind and won a good few times. Just one more second of time and it would of been the B's not closing out the game.

I'm down on Sully more than the team. That was a good effort, but the player usage was pretty scattershot.

His player usage this season has been straight up Bylsma-esque.

If the NHL was trying to showcase their game of hockey................THEY DID NOT
That looked more like a pre season game NO passion or desire Looked like a bunch of people on vacation with not a care in the world.

Also did anyone other than me dislike the uniforms and the numbers on the pens jerseys Hard to tell who was who unless you had a close up Horrible presentation and horrible game And oh by the way the penguins pulled their usual late in the game UNABLE TO CLOSE As salesmen they would NEVER get the sale NO CLOSING SKILLS

That's about where I land too. There are a couple obvious weak points but overall it's a pretty good team. Not contender, but should be capable of winning a playoff round.

But Sully needs to see a couple guys have aged. And he needs to stop burning guys out in every regular season game like it's an elimination playoff game and you have to ride with your best. Especially because it isn't working. We aren't seeing our stars win games at the end. Instead we see tired players getting out worked and making mental mistakes.

But that's exactly what he did. After 2 periods Kapanen played 4 minutes and Heinen 3. This despite figuring in on the only goal so it's not like they were benched for poor play.

Even on D, 4 defensemen played about 8 minutes while Pettersson, Ruuta, and Dumoulin played about 15 each. Why dress 7 D if you don't trust 4? Nevermind why trust Dumoulin over POJ at this point?

Might work with a younger team, but Pens need to roll through the whole line-up
