The Bridge call ups seem to have added nice energy and solid play.

Was thinking the same. Young fresh legs adding some jump to the group. Love fashing. Wotherspoon held I his own and impressed me too. Love Raty - wish he got a little more time but I get it.

Heard Verlander bought a house in your neighborhood. And they have a pool! Lucky you 😜🤩

Holmstrom has looked good as well.

Yes I agree. Was thinking who was on roster tonight but I really like this core of young guys coming through.

In post game presser Lambert said, they didn’t see anything in the retaliation by Joeseph.

During the first break I rewound the game to the hit. Wally hit the Penguin hard and kind of flipped over him awkwardly hitting the ice. I thought he hit his shoulder but could have been his head as well taking the blow. In the aftermath Joeseph came over and kinda gave him a couple shots with his hands but I didn’t see a cross check to the head or a cross check causing his head to hit the boards. Another thing was the ref was right there watching the whole thing so I don’t think there was anything there as Lambert said.
Now dumb dumb Gross tweets out a stupid tweet and I don’t have to tell you how that gets the ball rolling.

Thanks. So Joseph's shots didn't cause Wally's head to hit the ice or the boards?

Not that I saw on the replay. Could I be wrong hell yeah, however when Lambert said there was nothing there I felt that to be the case. If a player cross checks one of your players and causes him to be out that’s not what the coach is going to say.
I would think he would be a bit passed about the shot and say so. But then again who knows.

We'll probably know more about Wally's condition in a day or two. I agree that Lambert not taking the opportunity to blame Joseph is significant.

It's nice to see the Islanders being able to count on some Bridge players. It will put some pressure on the vets, and it also helps Lane is willing to sit vets when needed.

FWIW: Stefen Rosner- "I would think he has a concussion. Was very similar to the Adam Pelech injury, given that Oliver Wahlstrom was on one knee and his head bounced off the boards"

Like I said, I saw one angle where you could see the cross check but it seems like every gif out there cuts off just before the hit.

Great game all around. Gave the Penguins little space out there last night they couldn’t get through the neutral zone. Bridgeport players are making a statement and creating some competition within the lineup. Hopefully they can keep it up.

Was at game. Got there late . Traffic was horrible. Missed Wahlstrom incident. The Islanders played great . Dominated the game. I for one don't miss Palmieri at all. Hopefully he takes his time recovering from injury. Hope wahlstrom is OK. Like the way Wotherspoon is playing better than Salo

You did say that right when it happened. Like you I can’t see a replay showing the retaliatory hit. I hope if it was caused by Joeseph the league suspends his ass. Also Joeseph will have to answer the bell for it next time they play each other. Bush league cheap shot that needs to be eliminated from the game.

Cory Schneider is first goalie to leave the practice ice this morning, so we could be getting him tomorrow vs. Columbus.

This statistic is a false positive. 25% percent of the first 36 games the isles scored 1 goal or less.

They should be able to beat them no matter what. Can't run Sorokin into the ground and that's a good game to give him a night off.
