I believe that lameriello is always trying to do something I just think he has been unable to get anything done. He knows this team needs some help. Or maybe I’m completely wrong about that.

JG was at the deadline. Maybe all the way back to Boychuck and Leddy right before the start of the season if I’m remembering correctly? I will say this. The NHL’s reluctance to raise the salary cap has made trades nearly impossible for most teams. The teams that could execute a trade aren’t looking for one. The NHL has pretty much neutered itself and eliminated one of the more exciting things for its fan base. Like so many things that are negative today it was self inflicted.

Transactions: Collin Adams has been reassigned to Worcester. Jimmy Lambert has been returned on loan to Worcester.

Seems like Fasching and Bardreau are heading back to Bridgeport. Pelech going on IR while Palmieri comes off lets them keep Holmstrom around as an extra.
