Awfully bland effort by 12Chainz on that. I would have preferred 26 there, it's one of the few things he does really well
- keaner17

You were expecting a more exciting effort from Bailey?

Take the point in Boston where basically no one wins

The pp midway through the second where they gave up the shorty was abysmal. The Bs had three solid scoring chances. The goal they scored was an odd man rush with a three pass combo. The Isles should be embarrassed by that effort. I was.

Good news is that they're on track to go .500 through this brutal stretch of talent they're playing against, mostly on the road. Colorado and Vegas are both banged up which is good news. Arizona is stingy and scrappy but that's a must-win game Friday night. Rangers and Panthers are both entirely winnable games.

I figure 8 out of 12 points before Christmas would be good.

This is exactly where they run into problems.

Well they're going to have to figure out how to get it done with three lineup regulars missing, because there won't be a whole lot of room for error in the Metro this year. Some teams that should be in the playoffs are going to miss.

100%. Pelech seems far out from whatever vague info we have. Palmieri seems close. Have to figure it out. They managed to hang with Boston yesterday which is a positive. The negative is once again that was a very winnable game that they found a way to lose.

I was watching until Boston went up 2-0. I thought that this was going to be a disaster. It appears that they salvaged a point. It could be the difference of where they end up in April.

They'll beat the Penguins right after Christmas and then lose to Columbus two days later

Pretty much. That’s what decides every game. Whatever team wants it more wins. That supersedes talent some nights.

I'll punch the first person that says hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard

On my way to Vegas as I post this. Can’t wait to see the isles at Arizona St. I’ll try to grab some pics
