salutations, patrick.

- Gramps28

yeah but the word "moron" wasn't used in the original post, so dp would've had to bring it up differently in his reply lol

there's not a day passing by they don't say they got Dack to play center. maybe not now but eventually. why would they sign Monahan?!?
unless they're not telling us the truth. I cannot believe I wrote that. they ALWAYS tell the truth!!

at this point in time are you able to say with certitude that Dach will become a solid #2 center? would having both Dach and Monahan on the roster be a bad thing?

noone can. all I know is that it works perfectly fine on RW with Suzuki and Caufield. one of the best line in hockey so far this season, why change it??
oh right, our coach thought it was a good idea to split them yesterday. until the 3rd period when it was too little too late. but that's another story. lol

to be fair I think what he was trying to say was accurate, it's just that the way he said it and the example he used was clumsy and needlessly complicated.

considering that it's technically a natural position for Dach and that Monahan is currently injured, giving him a try at center wasn't such a dumb move, nothing ludicrous going on there imho...

all that being said I understand even less why you don't see giving Monahan a contract as an option for the habs, but it's all good lol.

never said it wasn't an option. it's a good one! short term only though.
but I think that 1- they will trade him, and 2- he will sign elsewhere for more years than what I'd like

maybe cause you need more than one line in this league to win on the regular?

and he was brought as a center, so...

They're old. If they don't rush they might forget.
