They're completely lifeless tonight - keaner17
I thought they had a good first. Then it all went down hill. |

If you brought your daughter they may have won.
Just kidding, I'm not superstitious. |

I was there.
Unfortunately.
The most entertaining part of the night was when one of the ice cleaning guys came out on the ice with his blade guards still on and fell on his ass. |

Well I’m going to talk about shots on goal again.
Islanders had only 16 SOG and had blocked 31 shots. Doesn’t that smell like your on your heels on night? The canes had 29 SOG and the Islanders blocked 31 shots? We were attacked!

I actually fell asleep half way through the second and woke up after the game was over. Thankfully. |

Isles are on a streak of you take one, I will take one. You take one, I will take one. Need to get back on that winning streak and stop playing .500 hockey.
I do not predict any moves before Christmas, however after the holiday. All bets are off. Need finisher and a bottom three d man.

Agreed. .500 hockey won't make the playoffs. To look at it another way, 29 games into the season, the Isles are on pace for approx. 96 points by the end of the regular season. That's enough to make it close, but likely won't make the playoffs.
Agree on the need for a finisher. Also need Pelech to get healthy quickly. |

I think both sides of the fan aisle can agree that the team is play better than anticipated due to the lack of movement in the offseason.
Their play has been solid enough to warranty making the necessary adjustments for a run at the playoffs again.

If Pelech isn’t back soon, we’re in a lot of trouble, there’s no skating around that at all. He’s arguably the 2nd most important person on the team. And, I flagged your post on accident, those damn buttons are right next to each other.

If you can get pre-paid parking and park in the Diamond lot the walk isn't that bad. The Emerald lot with the shuttle buses isn't so bad coming to the arena but getting back to it after the game is a PIA. It's either a long wait for a bus or a 15-20 minute walk back to your car. |

The silver lot is fine, too.
