I think he did and in fact when I watch that I see him trying to proactively hit Roy (likely to avoid being a stationary target and getting the full impact of the hit - which is a good play. Reminds me of Sandin when he did the reverse hit vs Winnipeg!
I just think it didn't work and it actually put Robertson off balance a bit because Roy is so much taller than him and Roberston being off balance resulted in the awkward fall and injury.
Just my take but it really does suck for Robertson. - Cush29
Two guys going for the puck. There was some leverage from Roy’s shoulder that flipped Robertson back and the way their legs were positioned caused him to go down hard.

I went to Trader Joe’s for the first time ever a couple of weeks ago.
They had a wine-based egg nog. So franking good. Tasted exactly the same, but you never felt bloated.
I can’t find anything like it, but we have a neighbour who works for a wine and booze company, so keep your fingers crossed for next year.
Oh, and I finally tried Charles Shaw wine, a.k.a. Two Buck Chuck. It was awful. So disappointing. - Atomic Wedgie

Watch it again. Roy applies glove, butt end of stick and shoulder under Robertson's chin to make sure he goes down. Robertson is trying to get to the puck which is about 8 feet past him. The pitchfork action, like a slew foot and like a low bridge hit, are really dangerous types of infractions. Its not a pick, or pushing someone over the blueline to get an offside call.

I like the "quick, quick like a chat" line as much.
Wed night mens league we have a guy who had de french accent big time. Yes his nickname of course is "Frenchie" and he was re-telling a story about a breakway save I made (yes I make the occasional save). He says "Cush u should 'ave said to da guy "nice try no goal-ov" after da save".
Everyone howling, then we all just kept quoting the commercial while drinking ice cold beer.
