I was going to write, aggressive interference.The interference was intentional no doubt, and I think the aggression was a combination of exhaustion and frustration due to the relentless onslaught. Roy swatted the horsefly buzzing around his head.

Boarding would have been more accurate, and it was without question severe with a high degree of violence. The unsuspecting issue is difficult. I think it has to do with a player's ability to protect himself - brace for impact to minimize injury. Robertson had no such opportunity.

I think he did and in fact when I watch that I see him trying to proactively hit Roy (likely to avoid being a stationary target and getting the full impact of the hit - which is a good play. Reminds me of Sandin when he did the reverse hit vs Winnipeg!

I just think it didn't work and it actually put Robertson off balance a bit because Roy is so much taller than him and Roberston being off balance resulted in the awkward fall and injury.

Just my take but it really does suck for Robertson.

My favourite is the one where the Penguins’ bus breaks down, so Crosby comes out and plays shinny on the pond with the kids.

My takeway: Makin, Letang and the boys are giant stuck-up douchebags. Crosby was the only guy who got off the bus.
