Really interesting situation, if UPL doesn't show some improvement this year. If they need to bring in another NHL G for next season, UPL + Levi in Roch would be awkward.

Would think Levi is on a 1 year AHL plan, next step is on his performance there.

I think the lack of goaltending ( aside from failed trades/ players waiving) was 100% leaving the door open for levi.

KA has preached not blocking the nhl pathway.

Who else/ what other positions could he be talking about?

Imagine hanging in the hunt until levi gets an opportunity to go pro and start in the nhl for a good team.

The only thing stopping a guy like levi , would be our poor record or poor defense.
Aside from the regular buffalo stuff.....

Next year scares me. They're going to want Levi to play 80% of Rochester's games which means UPL is either the Roch backup (I don't believe he'll be waivers exempt anymore) or he's the split starter in Buffalo with Comrie.

Beside the fact he can play(every 3-4games) he's been the biggest mentor in that room not named Okposo. My guess would be the biggest mentor, guy has been round the block a few times.

I understand their trade value is at an all-time low(maybe not for Casey, hes had some bad times) but you gotta move 1 in a package atleast and get some real "3rd" line help. Keep Jost with Girgs and OK.
