True, it’s gonna cost to sign him
Just think the player checks a lot of boxes for us

If it costs too much to trade for him, or too much to sign him, then we should move along imo

But if things work out with the trade & extension,
I think he’d be a good fit & bring some things we’re lacking
Horvat, Tage & Cozens down the middle would give us one of the best Center groups in the league- & we have plenty of young talent to fill in the wings

Oh it’s an extremely good fit. Really checks all the boxes. But lots of questions that would shape the long term of the team. Is Adam’s ready to make some of those decisions. Is Terry ready to sign off on them?

We have three 2nds this year, I’d give any of them

It's surprising that it gets any mention at all. Top 2C's are looking set and you have 3 first round C's getting close to the NHL as 3C's. Great situation. Is that really where anyone sees KA spending assets and cap?
