Long ways away but at O’Riellys current clip I don’t think he gets a big free agent deal. Could re sign him. |

Goon Parros is sure to suspend the giraffe, no way he looks at the pitchfork hit by Roy that will put Robertson on the shelf for 2 months. Same old same old.

To be honest, I think he’s just as happy to have Malgin there - Canada Cup
Sincerely doubt this. Malgin's upside significantly lower than Robertson's. It's not even close. Not sure any coach would be "happy" about a young player being given his first opportunity to prove himself suffering a serious injury.

It really sucks to lose Robertson again. The kid can't catch a break. Awful luck really.
Either he was going to prove himself and add another offensive threat in the top six, solidifying the 3rd and/or 4th lines by pushing Bunting down or keeping Kerfoot in the bottom six, or improve his trade value allowing Dubas to swing for the fences this trade deadline.
Definitely doesn't help the Leafs' prospects for this season. |

I’m not talking about eventual upside. Maybe he would have shown himself over the time of Jarnrok’s absence. I’m talking about which of the two is helping that line right now.
Nickie was being replaced by ZAR when Leafs were up 2-0 against Dallas because he was having trouble getting pucks deeps and missing the odd assignment. He came back when it went to 3-0.
And I missed the part where I said that Keefe is happy about any of his players being injured. |

I thought the hit by Roy was super dirty. Not even a 2 minute penalty. Then the same official calls a match penalty when Durzi does a swan dive - then doesn't miss a shift. Outrageous really. |

You do realize that he was out of the lineup without Keefe actually injuring him. Preferring someone else to play on that line doesn’t necessarily mean being glad he’s injured. Does that really need to be explained? |

Point totals are down but he has 8 even strength goals, same as Matthews.
If they do add a forward they don’t need one that scores on the PP.
Good defensively, wins faceoffs, scores goals.
If there’s a reasonable extension they can discuss I’m all over that. |

You’d think so, another loss last night.
Losing Perron hurt them, fancy stats had them as a bubble wild card team this year…not easy to make up those points especially when the team you are chasing is Colorado. |

Absolutely crazy.
Nobody could have predicted that.
The Leafs will finish: 1st in their division. Yeah, what the hell, I went there.
The main reason for this is: Dubas had a good offseason. It's a stronger team than last year - especially at the goalie position.
The biggest surprise will be: goaltending. It will be much better last year. Honestly, I couldn't even remember who our backup was last year - that's what we call a suppressed memory. - Atomic Wedgie

It's the body's natural reaction to flop when hit in the head from behind.
Don't believe me?
Sneak up behind someone and gently flick their ear, and watch how violently they jerk their head.
Seriously, I can't believe people are somehow trying to water down what Engvall did last night.
It was gutless, selfish and stupid.
I expect to see Engvall seeing some pressbox time after that one. |

Maybe its the "I hate the Leafs I am going to light them up" attitude every former pick/hometown player has but I enjoyed the booing/jeers he got after spending 20-30K on tickets on family and friends.
Its probably unfair and the result of watching guys like Simmonds(past Simmonds), Konecny, blah blah come in and say how bad they want to beat the Leafs but thats hockey. There will be a day where he is on the other side of this.
And yes I do feel for the mom and dad.
Buntings chirps on him bringing so many people were hilarious. |
