We are dude lol
We were in the ECF last year remember ? And basically one goal short all 4 games we lost - Slimtj100
Just not sure they are one player away this year. They never replace copp or vatrano. Depth is an issue and they need another dman. If Igor was playing like last year I would consider it more

Well it is only 28 games into the season
I’ll be stunned if he isn’t a ranger by the TDL |

That's not fair to ask Shesterkin to have B2B season of .935 hockey. |

He's only 12-4-4. We clearly need more from him
If Halak's 1-6-1 was even something like 3-4-1 the conversation is probably at least a little more positive. Not that it's all on Halak, we've played like garbage in front of both goalies for long stretches. |

I'm sure he expects a competent defensive structure in front of him on a consistent basis |

Shesty looked the best he has all year last night I thought
This is how we should look at them…they have played like crap most of the year yet are still 3 games over .500. They could easily pick up their game and make a run at second place, first place may be out of reach. But whatever that isn’t a big deal.
In other words it could be worse Thomas could it not? |

You think my defense of not asking Shesterkin to have consecutive seasons of .935 is a slight? Are you ok? |

No I was just making a general statement since it always so sad here. Trying to pep you up!
You’re correct that that is unfair to ask of him. Somewhere in the middle of this and last year. And the D has been pretty bad in front of him. He just need to make the big save at the right time. He misses on that occasionally |

And we are only in the playoff picture by 2 points. With the teams chasing us all having played fewer games. Time to make that push is growing short. |

He is the one move I’d like to kick Drury in the nuts for. Just have dominque and another guy under one mill. Wasted 1.5 was it? In cap space. |

Meh. I’m really not worried at all yet. Annoyed and frustrated (at times) yes, but I still have every intention of enjoying the playoffs lol |

We are tied for points with the holder of the final wildcard spot ,TBL, at 31 points with 3 more games played. Trail NYI and PITT by 1 point with 1 and 2 more games played respectively |

The losses to the chicago, cbj, ducks, etc of the league could come back to bite us in the ass. They’ll need to beat these lesser teams all year now moving forward. They do seem to lower the level of play vs lesser teams for whatever reason. |

They also have to lead the league in hitting the iron. I’ve never seen so many in my life in one season. I remember these sorts of things |

Disclaimer: I am not advocating for or against trading for him in this post.
He had 92 points last season and is having a "down" year for himself with 20 in 25 this season (happens to lead the team in points). The team is crap, so of course he is not producing like he normally would.
Again, not saying i want him here. But let's be real - picklerick
Kane is still a PPG player but would be more productive with a finisher on his line who also can feed him the puck in return. Guys like Debrincat and Panarin who he had some very productive years together feeding each other. Per capfriendly, Bread on a line with Chytil and Goodrow. Don't know if that currently is the case, but Kane would look better on that line, no?

It’s hard to blame one guy for any messes so far. Collectively top to bottom they’ve all pretty much sucked at some point so far. Coaches included. Like I said before, the record indicates it’s not all that bad. Law of averages suggests they improve in most of these aspects throughout the remainder of the season

Yes ideally a rangers lineup with Kane looks like this
Laf Zib Kakko
Panarin Chytil Kane
Kreider Trocheck Kravtsov/Vesey
Gauthier/Blais Goodrow Vesey/Gauthier |
