Been rumored as a possibility for a while but nothing confirmed. He has a very low cap hit, which is why he made the team initially. That and he can't be sent down without passing through waivers, which wasn't happening - airjan23
But I could totally see them saying, organizationally, protect this kid as much possible till he plays well. Like he just scored and now they’re like get him off the ice! Panicked lol. Know what I mean. I think it’s better than assuming GG is blatantly trying to sabotage the team playing Goodrow in the top 6. Sorry I had to lol |

You want Kane right, adding 1.3 million dollars makes it that much hard for them to do that. |
|
|

Just for arguments sake, PP one with Chychrun. You take Trocheck off and have fox with him for his booming shot or Zibs, and Kreider to block the view. It could work🤷🏻♂️ - Slimtj100
It could work for the 50% of games that he actually plays. Guy is as fragile as they come. If he’s getting hurt like this in the regular season, imagine come playoff time when injuries really start to pile up? Give me a guy like Soucy any day over Chychrun. |

So you want to trade Blais to Minnesota? I'd be more than ok with that. |

Blais is gonna contribute, when idk. But probably when you least expect it.
But why does everyone have to score goals? Why can’t we just enjoy a role player for what he is, a role player. Regardless of what he gets paid, regardless of who he was traded for. Blais is important in his role, as is Goodrow. People can’t deal with role players. Fascinating actually |

He listening to Aecliptic. He was clamoring for him for a good year or so lol
Maybe faceoffs? They struggled bad last year on draws. - Slimtj100
I wanted him last year at the deadline cause he was like 53% on faceoffs and had like 150 hits. Two things we needed for our 4th line. However, admittedly this experiment failed badly. But it didnt cost us anything really, move on. |

Realistically..Blais should be back to speed by playoffs..if it happens. ACL surgery, playing the way he does "did". No easy thing...He's improving

For all the poop the rangers get about their prospects, the kings Byfield and Turcotte look really far behind |

Would have kept Rooney at league min. He fit the team well. Just not at $1.3m |

Agreed. He and Hunt both brought more energy and impact than Carpenter has. He wasn't a terrible signing, but I didn't get what they thought he brought that none of our other options have. |

Blais needs to find a way to stay on his feet. Any contact and he is snow angel on the ice.

I was told by the all knowing (not you.) that his back issue would cripple his career. Funny how that works.
That 2017 pick Andersson cost them at least 3 quality players. (It's more All 6 players taken after Andersson all superior players. 3: Vilardi, Suzuki and Necas are all quite good.) |

Sammy Blais will be 27 at the end of the year. In 185 combined NHL regular season and playoff games, he has 20 goals. A cool .11 goals per game pace. |
