5 more Ws to go for my 7 game winning streak prediction. A win in Colorado seems probable given their injuries and how the team is playing now.

But, the guy they are releasing to bring her home did, didn't he?? Like a lot of wrong.

It’s a moral relativism question that is far beyond the scope of this blog

Thinking anything is given with Rangers hockey is a huge mistake.

And now this moron has to act like he arrived at this decision through some meaningful process instead of resisting it, in spite of all logic pointing to the kids getting minutes will help them grow, until he had no other option.

Can we talk about Goodrow?

Gallant is absolutely going to keep in that spot vs Colorado. In spite of him having him have 3 really bad turnovers and 2 offensive zone penalties when the Rangers had possession of the puck. He did have a really nice assist, got pony up for him on that. But overall more bad than good.

The dissecting of every shift is a bit much doncha think? Not just you but by everyone really. How do you all sleep at night?

They won the game. Probably the best 60 minute effort of the season, but nope let’s dissect a couple of meaningless giveaways by one of the leaders. Makes sense 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was totally on board with the Goodrow signing but he is seriously miscast on this team. He took some dumb penalties and dropping the gloves while they had offensive pressure was so (frank)ing dumb. He is my whipping boy now. You all got to rail on Nash for no reason when I defended him so now I do the same to Goodrow.

People need to stop acting like he makes 7 mill a year. He’s invaluable jmo

Nash Goodrow hasn’t missed a yawning net in the SCF yet

It's only a little about the money. He should not be in the top 6. I don't even think it's debatable. He is an excellent bottom 6 player but his AAV is a little high for that role. Not sure how to feel at this point since they seem intent on deploying him above his skill level.

A few things connected for him last night that redeemed his earlier (headscratching) flubs. The likelihood that he's able to replicate the good more than the bad in a top 6 role is not high. I like him getting 10-13 min as a 4th liner/pk'er, and that would make him slightly overpaid. It's not that i don't like him on this team. All of this is to say he can't be on the 2nd line much longer if we want to have a serious chance at getting back into the playoff conversation.

He makes 3.6 which is about twice more than 4th line player should make. So when he does stupid poop, yeah I'm gonna be annoyed. Plus most of the time he's outshot with whoever plays with. He's anchor. Elevating an anchor to your top is 6 bad. Full stop.

My apologies for bringing up a positive, but is that the first time Laf and Kakko scored in the same game together?

I feel like the team should sit down and agree that they do not fight unless something egregious takes place. It doesn't do anything positive and could give us a few more powerplays if we just let the other guy take a dumb penalty trying to fight trouba for a clean hit (or goodrow for a dumb penalty he himself took previously)

I think it has happened a couple of times.

Don't be annoying, lots of positives last night. Trouba looked mostly great, very decisive and was getting bombs on goal from the point.

Congrats? Too bad your narrative of Goodrow being good is a fallacy.

CFrel: -9.8%

xGF%: 46.14

SCF%: 46.95

Some of the worst metrics on the team for a forward. Rates almost identically to Libor Hajek. So yeah Goodrow is still bad.
