(Absolutely no issue with Aaron - but on here enough to get a sense of each posters tone and whatnot)…but that comment actually made chuckle. I’m not at all a fan of the advanced stats crap. Too much stock put into things that don’t include:
Team style of play
Team defence/offence (system)
Who plays with who
Who each player plays against night to night

There’s a lot more to consider than just the stat when it comes to hockey

Stats are a grain of salt kinda thing eh…to a certain extent even assists and I suppose as a result pts (though it’s a stretch I guess)…secondary assists are odd to me sometimes
