That rules. I see coyotes all over the place biking the city. There's a zillion of them. - Zezel
Here too. Missing pet posters on every post and mailbox. I see fur patches of all kinds on many walks, even had a stare down with one while I was walking my pup. My wife and daughter were switching drivers one afternoon and one ran so fast to the truck, my girl just made it in. An eerie feeling when they don’t run and instead come at you.

Slaf needs to learn to protect himself, happened too many times already in his short career.

They don't give a (frank). I've had them stand up to me when I'm on a bike, making noise. |

I thought so too at the time.
Then again, I also thought the Leafs made a mistake picking Marner over Hanifin.
So....
We'll see. |

Re: Alan Parsons
So jealous of you Winsie. I have been a big Alan Parsons fan since the early 80's. The guy is underappreciated. - Aetherial
I'm not a cruise guy but I did one this past summer to see some great blues guitarists. It was fab. Seriously considering this one. It's the only scheduled appearance by Parsons according to his website. Also like the Moody Blues and the Zombies alot.

Hate to see the kid get hit like that though. He was looking down and by the time he looks up, he seems to be looking backwards. He'll figure that one out.
Good to see the Habs playing well enough that they don't need that 1st overall |

I did have names picked out, William for a boy, Zezelania for a girl, but turns out I pulled the goalie in time |

So, while you are likely biased, you also likely saw more of the play than that same clip from that one angle I've seen a few times now - it looked to me like Slaf had the puck coming around the net - I'm not sure if he loses it on the far side, or tries to throw it out front, but then Schenn nails him - but I honestly wasn't sure why that was Interference - he had not been without the puck for any distinct period of time, nor was it really a bad hit (although it was f'n hard and you could argue blind-side, but not to the head).
Was he called for a penalty because of the volume of the hit, or was there actual interference?

It's bittersweet for sure.
On one hand, I'm glad to see the team playing well and being carried by players that will be part of our core for years to come.
On the other, we're slowly but surely moving away from a top 5 pick in a strong draft year.
At least we might get 2 picks in the top 15 if Florida keeps faltering.

IT WAS A BULLpoop HIT TO THE HEAD MAN!
But seriously, I have no idea why it was a penalty. He seemed more or less in control of the puck so I guess you could stretch it that way but... seemed to me like a ref calling a penalty because the hit "looked" bad... which isn't in the rulebook.

Even "Billy" isn't horrible as long as it is just my sisters or mother(s) calling me that. |

I think they are after Nimmo or Yashida maybe both. There aren't many starting pitchers left.
