Easier to do this than count on big time scoring - Canada Cup
Keefe should be telling them that’s the way you need to oaky if you want to win in the playoffs. Except less penalties please, give your poor goalie a break!

Oh Mitch… - Atomic Wedgie
It was hilarious! I love it whe. A player actually goes off script when being interviewed. Markstrom the other night was another good one “ya I just suck at hockey right now”. Lol

Was listening to a goalie guy the other day who talked about how he redid his game. The key to watch for is his stance. If he gets a crouch where he’s wide and low, he’s in trouble. The guy called it licked and low and said it’s how he learned to play and how he played in Pit. The problem is that it’s harder to move side to side quickly and that his glove hand gets too far in front and he can’t move it up easily.
He had done a pretty good job changing in Ottawa by the end but was injured. The first game here he completely reverted back. You could see him get into that crouch a few times after he came back from injury but not much any more.
Anyway, was an interesting interview - Canada Cup
That’s a great observation and very accurate. Once your too wide your screwed as far as side to side movement because now you have to make a full extra movement to go side to side. One movement of your feet “in” to get power and then another to shuffle or push to slide - wasteful in relation to effort and time.

That’s exactly how he explained it. He said Murray will never be as narrow as a guy as Sarros but that he really has changed.
Kevin Woodley is one of the better goalie analysts I’ve heard on the radio. JD Bunkis gets him on

Honestly, i dont miss rielly. I miss brodie, benn and a healthy muzzin - Fakepartofme
Yeah, it's going to be weird getting all of those guys back.
A healthy Muzzin is always a good thing, but my guess is he's retiring. Benn's been good in limited action; Brodie is always solid. Rielly is still the best puck-carrier, but isn't great defensively.
