Where was this rumor? ON here? LOL.. Beau was never shopped. The Islanders like Beau.. it's only morons on here who think he stinks.

Bailey was shopped for cap room.. no interest. Beau could be moved today.

Who blamed Beau for the loss?

read the comments... Lee was - 3 in the game. He was on for all the Power plays.. zero points. Yet every other comment is Beau was brutal..2 points in 15 games, trade Beau.. no one wanted him.. it's comical.

I was saying the same thing but lately I’m asking myself why? He’s usually good to go on a streak but the clock is ticking. He literally sucks most nights
- Cptmjl

Literally the game winner the game before was a result of Beau's pass to Brock. the game before he caused the Turnover that ended up being Brock's game winner as well... honestly .. WTF do you watch?

I read the comments and you responded to my post. So I ask again who blamed Beau for the loss? Also, what’s so comical about another team not wanting to take on salary for an inconsistent, oft sucky, underperforming player? Do you actually think teams are lining up to take Beauvillier?

They could move Beau in 5 minutes. Then we would hear all the whining when he scored big goals on another team.

Google it yourself. It was discussed multiple times by the usual rumor mill people. As with all things islanders who knows if it was true or not? None of us know. Including you. I honestly think it’s hysterical you don’t think he was shopped like he’s some asset this team could never part with.

Remember when you said the same thing about Bailey? Yet here we are

Also, you didn’t answer the question. As expected…

That’s why I bolded it.

Also, what team would want Beau and his salary? Five mins I’ll give you five mins to not answer that question

Beau is so clutch

First goal for Blues.. Bad pinch and failed to keep puck in by Mayfield.. 2 on 1.. Romanov takes away pass and Sorokin doesn't make save. .. fault Mayfield.. Sorokin

Second goal.. hops over Mayfield stick.. 2 on 1 again.. Romanov fails to take pass away.. goal. fault .. Mayfield and Romanov.

3rd goal Romanov tried to tie up O'Reilly and missed him in front.. .. fault.. Romanov.. clearly.

4th Goal ... deflection in front by Acciari who was being tied up by Dobson. .. fault.. Dobson.

5th goal.. brutal play by Sorokin on puck shot from Blue line.. fault. .Sorokin.

(no clue why he was not pulled at this point or earlier.. clearly not his night)

6th goal .. terrible play by Pulock.. terrible call by Lambert pulling goalie that early..

7th goal.. who cares..

When did I ever say they could move Bailey in 5 minutes? Could they move him.. Yes. They were able to trade Ladd were they not? Bailey is certainly more valuable than him.. but it would cost picks to move him.

very happy you are not our GM.. lol. Any of the teams he scored against in our playoff runs would take a 25 year old kid who flies around the ice and scores big goals. OT goals in playoffs, OT goals in games, Huge goals against Pens in series, Hat trick vs. Rangers, Game 6 .. huge goal in game 5 vs. Caps in Playoffs when he got crushed into net.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tc-yE7I-SFo

This goal in Game 6 that forced Game 7 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tc-yE7I-SFo

But he didn't score in a 7 -4 game vs. the Blues so we should trade him.. comical.

Me too. Really tough situation to find a way to trade Beau to improve the team. So all of the teams we played in the playoffs would happily take Beau off our hands? Is that what you’re saying?

Islanders need to wipe the slate and move on from last nights game. Every team has games like last nights throughout the season. With that said we’re going to learn a lot about who this team is this Friday. We’ll see what the response is against the devils Friday. The one thing I still take issue with is the Bortuzzo hit. That was purely predatory. Pelech was falling and Bortuzzo took advantage of a player in a vulnerable position. I don’t care if there were two points on the line you have to somehow send a message. There was zero uptick in physical play after that hit. No response whatsoever. That to me was the turning point of this game. Didn’t like it.

I do not think the Avs or Bruins have had a stinker like that.

Beau??? is that you sneaking into this blog??? We did mean too hurt your feelings. However, we as fans have been waiting for you play a consistent game. So far while you have had some bright spots...YOUR CONSISTENCY SUX!!! Hence the reason for grandpa Lou not to give you a franchise contract.

So while you think we are morons for criticizing your play. We like management and coaching staff would like you to step up your game and be more consistent. We believe it to be a vital cog in the success and future of this team.

Thank you for reading...

Who would you say is the leader on this team??? Who is the guy that puts this team on his back and leads the way??? Willing to listen and I will give my answer later.

The avalanche just gave up five goals to the Flyers of all teams. They’re dealing with some significant injuries I get it. The bruins will have one of those games if they haven’t already. All teams do. I stated what my biggest issue was with last nights loss. That remains my issue and also Beau because that loss was so obviously his fault. ALL BEAU’s FAULT!!!!!

The list of guys who played well last night is FAR shorter than the list of guys who shat the bed. My boy Lee was pretty (frank)ing bad in particular, and even Sorokin had one of the pooptier performances of his career. Losing Pelech was just the cherry on a particularly poopty performance.

Oh well. Is what it is. Hopefully they’ll be plenty pissed off for Friday.

Yeah pretty much everyone was bad last night. Maybe Pelech was having a decent game before Bortuzzo ram him. That’s all I got. Piss poor performance overall. Interested(scared) to see how they respond on Friday with a speedy team like the Devils.

Dobson was more good than bad. Liked Parise’s game, and a couple of the other bottom 6 forwards did their jobs. Barzal was fine as well.

As to the Devils, I’ll be happy if they come out of that game with a point. I’ll be (frank)ing ecstatic if they somehow shut the Devils down.

I thought Holmstrom had a pretty solid game, for a rookie. Nothing spectacular but he was noticeable to me

Yes to this also. He made some real nice defensive plays and pushed the play a couple times in the offensive end. I guess it wasn’t all bad.
