Even though I lost interest in baseball, cool to see Fred McGriff get in the HOF.

He's better defensively than he's given credit for.

Also, since Rielly isn't great on PP1, put Chychrun there. He's excellent at it.

Athletic article headline, why it's too early to tell if Leaf goalie gamble paid off. Um, because it's early?

So weird of a publication to write a nothing article about Leafs - are they just looking for hits or something?

Some guys can come back from a bad string of injuries.

Great example: Lupul.

His early years were always cut short by weird injuries, but by the tail end of his career, he was completely injury-free as his cocaine addiction drove him out of hockey.

Why do I critique sports journalism, it's pure in its utter emptiness.

Ok. I thought this year it was April 8. Regardless, we have 3 games after April 8 - April 10, 11 and 13!

The TDL is March 3, 2003.

He wasn't addicted to cocaine, he just liked the smell of it.

Imagine if a team had Chychrun and Trotz, they would be the ultimate.

I think there’s a lot of luck involved; you fall a certain way and your leg twists and there’s a break or a tear. You fall in a very slightly different way and nothing happens. There’s no “injury prone” connection between a groin injury and a concussion.

But, a guy who gets a series of groin injuries may have an issue. A guy on his third concussion definitely has an issue. There’s also a question of some guys not being able to play or play well if they have the slightest little problem. I think that was a Freddie thing. It would just throw him off

RIP Kirstie Alley. I disagreed with her politics, but I probably dusted it off to her a few times in the 80s.

Maybe last year’s was the 10th. Was just going off memory.

The other critical time is seeing Muzzin’s guy in California “around” the end of February
