I was gonna do that anyway!!
About the only way one can make it through a game these days. Strong weed laced with valium. Especially when this broadcast will be filled with talk about the Buchnevich-Blais trade.

Blais scores tonight.

Power play looks the same.

PP1- Fox, Zib, Trocheck, Panarin and Kreider

PP2- Trouba, Laf, Kravtsov, Kakko and Blais

They’re 2 for their last 25 (although one of those goals was Saturday) #NYR

yup

Nice to see Kravy on the PP, but is this group of 5 with 8 goals combined supposed to strike fear in the hearts of defenders????

Must be my fault. I've been trying to will him to score on every single shift he's taken for two weeks now. I have literally been pleading for him to score above every other player on the team. I've now reset my standards to "do something to show you belong in the league."
Has to be lingering effects from the ACL, but it's getting to be too much.

I felt it necessary to return here when time permits like today due to a buddy reader informing me of all the disappearances by members who left for whatever reason(s).

But before giving my reason why Gallant is still here, I have major breaking non NHL related news for those who care like Jan being #1, and I believe tj for a second.

**Sources are reporting the METS have signed JUSTIN VERLANDER to a 2 YEAR deal for $86M, with a "vesting option" for a 3rd Year.

So now, two $43M aging #1 starters, but one in Verlander being the safer bet than had an injury plagued deGrom accepted the Mets 3 year $120M offer made to him prior to bolting to Texas.

Gallant is not getting fired anytime soon this is squarely on the players.Trotz doesn’t want to coach this year so if Dolan throws money at him to change his mind and it doesn’t work out you guys will be saying the same things about trotz down the line! Rangers suck right now no doubt but it’s time for some of you to go in a dark room smoke a bone and chill!

I took your advice and while I just got fired but I feel way less bad about the Rangers sucking

Kreider had 26 power play goals last year, the vast majority from tip ins right in front. It's amazing how it doesn't even seem that they are even attempting to do that this year. This year they just keep passing it around the perimeter back and forth until they can do a cross-ice pass to Mika for the one timer.

I don't think coaches are dumb, they obviously see what is happening and must be telling the players what needs to happen, so it's on the players to do it, isn't it? But then if the players don't do as they're told, it should be on the coaches to make changes to the personnel.

It's mind-boggling how everything just stays the same.

I want to see guys playing with more emotion. What Trouba did last game is what I want to see from every “leader” on this team. Kreider needs to get more involved physically, and although he’s young I feel like Schneider isn’t as physical as he was last year. Anyone know what their record is since they traded Reaves?

Trouba has missed on like 75% of those open ice hits this year, including in OT, causing odd man rushes. I don't know what they do to make us better. If it's there, sure, light em up legally. How about channeling the anger/frustration/emotion towards things like forechecking, backchecking, going to the net, making smart plays, getting pucks on net, etc? Beyond that, it's on GG or whoever is coaching to give the team a structure that emphasizes those things
