Need to get a 6th D-man asap. Then get a selfish shooting player like some guy named Frank Vatrano (I forget who he played for last year, but I hear positive things about his shot )

Seriously, need to stop this east-west sh!t (especially on the PP) and get the puck to the net with some crashers.

Good thing you signed a 29 Year old 2C who is terrible at utilizing his linemates to a 7 year deal.

This year reminds me of the 92-93 season if you’re old enough to remember. Great previous season (91-92), high hopes for the next season and it’s all going kaput. Granted that year they lose Leetch to injury which curtailed a lot of that teams issues. But what happen the following season? 🤔 it’s also a lot like the islanders season least year. ECF hangover I guess

Trying to be positive 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anaheim is 1-9 in their last 10, only win against the Rangers.

Chicago is 2-8 in their last 10, with 1 win against the Rangers and the other against Anaheim.

Chicago getting whooped by the Islanders right now.

Would love to be a fly on the wall in Drurys office. Think the next stretch will be do or die.

I've always taken the approach that I stand behind my team 100%. Not as far as blindly accepting failure, but always believing that evolution and development will take us forward over time and effort excuses errors in the short term.
I find myself in uncharted waters by admitting that something is seriously off here. I was hard on some of you for negativity and I won't say that I'm not still waiting for things to get better. But, I'm mystified by Gallant's apparent lack of urgency or even understanding in this matter. I still feel like we have all the right pieces, they just haven't fit together properly. We all know what guys like Mika, Bread, Trouba, Fox and Shesty can do. We have seen glimpses of what guys like Blais, Gauthier, Kakko, Laffy, Miller and Chytil are capable of. The fact that NONE of them are playing to anywhere near their potential is frustrating, but also speaks of the presence of a real problem. I certainly don't have answers, but if they continue on without any attempt to change the overall game plan we are in for hard days at a time when most of us were expecting some of our most exciting days as fans.

That's what I am having the hardest time with. I was never a fan of his postgame interviews but I immediately shut the game off once it's over now. I can't listen to him say the same worthless BS every time.

It’s is early in the season still. Once February hits if they aren’t 5-10 games over .500 we’ll be in trouble. Time is still on their side

But they just don’t look capable atm of being that much over .500 by then

If this was still a rebuilding team I could accept the early season struggles. But this team is capped out and supposed to be a cup contender this season. I just don’t know if you can wait til February at this point. Missing the playoffs would be an utter disaster for this franchise

trocheck has been the least of their problems.

Their top 2 picks suck, they have one good defensive pair, and their big $ players live off the PP. Trocheck has been very good aside from all the posts he hits

I don't see Kane fixing what's wrong with this team. Hopefully they make smaller player changes if any and grab him in the offseason. We're really missing Vatrano's N/S to the net play with too much cute E/W passes. Drury should be sending Omaha steaks to Trotz about now. Clearly GG has lost the room.

Same. I’ve maybe watched 1 or 2 all season. I used to watch the entire post game religiously. Bad vibes man.

Gallant is a coach who only looks good when the team is winning. Once things hit the fan he has no clue what to do. Now that the team is spiraling hes clueless on a fix

Gallant is not getting fired anytime soon this is squarely on the players.Trotz doesn’t want to coach this year so if Dolan throws money at him to change his mind and it doesn’t work out you guys will be saying the same things about trotz down the line! Rangers suck right now no doubt but it’s time for some of you to go in a dark room smoke a bone and chill!

"I think No. 1 is, I'm not quite there," Trotz said on the Cam and Strick Podcast on Tuesday. "I think probably to get everything settled, I'm going to be into early December before I feel comfortable (that) I've got the family stuff in control and after that I'm probably going to have to take a little break, a week or two, to maybe go somewhere warm in the winter and then after that ..."

Power play looks the same.

PP1- Fox, Zib, Trocheck, Panarin and Kreider

PP2- Trouba, Laf, Kravtsov, Kakko and Blais

They’re 2 for their last 25 (although one of those goals was Saturday) #NYR

yup

I was gonna do that anyway!!
About the only way one can make it through a game these days. Strong weed laced with valium. Especially when this broadcast will be filled with talk about the Buchnevich-Blais trade.
