but let's look a bit more into the future. do we want to build a contender (2-3 years from now) with or without Anderson?
if the answer is yes you keep him. if the answer is no, you trade him as soon as you can imo. his value will only go down as he gets older. they won't get the moon, but they'll clear 5.5M and open a spot for a kid. they will always have Gallagher to play the old vet. him they won't be able to get rid of.

If you can get a first round pick in this year's draft and possibly a lower pick, you do it. They may have to take back a bad contract to make it work, but as long as it's one with little remaining term why not? Obviously, if the picks aren't there, you keep the guy.

I wasn't convinced at the beginning of the season about Wifi ... I though he would be too slow. But damn, he sure has proven me wrong.

This guy can play at this level (NHL), he brings some much needed sand paper to the lineup ... he only needs to stop getting stupid penalties.
