I only saw from the third period on. Was this game played in slow motion? The whole thing seemed to be at half speed. Both teams, not just the Rangers. They looked old and tired. Just me? - TheMessiah94
reaves would be more effective than laffy at this point |

Forget overtime. We got outplayed for 40-50 of the first 60 minutes |

He has zero confidence right now and honestly, he looks out of shape. Idk how that’s possible in the middle of an NHL season but he does. Nothing good happens when the puck is on his stick. - TC88
I believe he looks out of shape because of the lack of confidence and not currently thinking the game at a high level. Without anticipation he's always a step behind. |

I disagree. We don't know if he can because he never (frank)ing tries. He needs to be let free and try things. He plays like he never wants to make a mistake. - JRR1285
Well, what was holding him back coming down the ice 1v1? What was stopping him from turning his body in and pushing towards the net?
Also, afraid to make a mistake? He made one! He passed the puck through the middle of the ice and turned it over. He should have either put the puck on the goalie or put it behind the net and kept it in the zone. |

Let’s call it how it is. Laf and kakko never look like their respective draft statuses. We all look for silver linings to hope they pan out. Regardless if it’s them not being good or development they flat out are busts currently. They wouldn’t be missed |

Would it be crazy to let him watch for a game or 2? Maybe it sparks something in him. |

Yeah he did. He's making poor choices all around because his confidence is gone. I think he needs to sit a game or a few. Might give him a reset. |

Jury is still out but it's getting harder to ignore. I still believe this team was not the right place to develop these guys.
All of the scouts can't be wrong on two consecutive years regarding a 2OA and 1OA. One I could get. Not two. |

I think he needs to sit too. They have some space for a call up. Sit him and expose Carpenter. Bring up Rydhal. |

I mean maybe they need to lose tomorrow to show something is seriously off with this team. A win will just create false hope like all is well. Some type of a shakeup is needed |

The thing is, it was consensus on the 2 of them. Its not like we reached or went off the board. Could our luck really be this bad?
I said it a few weeks ago, I think theres a serious issue deeper in the organization with the trainers and coaches. I think theyre not prepping them properly, theyre not stretching them properly, conditioning isnt what it needs to be. Its just really damn weird that year after year we talk about the same things no matter who is coaching this team. |
