Unfortunately, this is true and relevant. My son pointed out that the average IQ of humans is about 100. This means that about half the population of the planet is operating with less than that.

There is definitely a portion of the population that actively rejects and disdains expertise, science, and critical thinking, and is animated by grievance, resentment and faux victimhood.

Hopefully the historic midterm failure of MAGA is a sign that this group is a minority, and Enlightenment values won out over Team Insane Idiot.
