I got a jersey with the patch, wife can't complain much when I tell her the entire cost of the jersey is going to ALS Canada.

Win/win!

Now I'm not saying the Leafs medical staff isn't good. They are probably great.

But how can you tell if they're the best in the league?

Which advanced stats are we looking at here? Expected games missed average?

- Scabeh

It has been reported that the team has an almost unlimited budget when it comes to this stuff. That may not make them the best but it sure doesn’t hurt. Players who played here for a season to up their stock and sign elsewhere have commented that it’s the best that they’ve seen.

My cold is back.

Missing the Salming tribute tonight.

I just want to take a hot shower, then sleep for 48 hours.

Oh but it is.

From the Real Sports Apparel site (link below):

All net proceeds from jerseys sold on November 30th will be donated to ALS Action Canada. (While quantities last)

If something else = piece of trash then agreed. I'm not even a "Fatty Patty" fan but if a broadcaster did that on Sportsnet or TSN here in Canada they would be fired pretty quickly I'm guessing.

What a moron Edwards is.

Petersen on waivers. Damn that's a fall from grace.
- Aaron_85

And his contract has 2 more years after this one at 5M per year + a 4 M signing bonus to be paid next year.

He's not having a great year.......but has a winning record. lol

Peterson, 28, has a 5-3-2 record this season with an .868 save percentage and 3.75 goals-against average.

Yikes!

What was the shipping $$$ out there?

I live in Scarborough and mine was somehow over $14. Like, I'll just go down there and (frank)ing grab them.

- GreatGigInTheSky

my shipping was about $13 and change so round up to $14.

Key phrase: NET proceeds.

But considering those jerseys cost about $2 to make, still pretty good…

He’s a fish hatchery worker I think. I think the problem in bc are the steep hills. That and wet snow are a bad combination.

It doesn’t matter how you pronounce “tomato” - it’s still the same fruit. There is no difference.

You’re pretty slow today - just like your glove hand.

(I don’t fear a 48 hour ban if I’m going to be asleep the whole time)

Ratios?

I was in a Costco in Phoenix last week - they had 3L bottles of wine.

Wouldn’t that be hilarious to show up to a Christmas party with one of those?

I will have you know my glove hand is 'not slow' it's deliberate. And in fact of all my goaltending tools it's probably the quickest (and that's not saying much).

Now feet, eyes, head, body, legs.....you could have said they were all slow and got no argument from me!

You shower and nap you old lazy SOB, I'm going to play mens league at 9pm, drink a cold beer and then get in my truck and drive 2.5 hrs to my father in laws so that my entire body is cramped AF when I get there so he and my wife can go see the Trans Siberian Orchestra tomorrow pm in Rochester.

Someone has to hang out with the doggo!

I was going to ask if they are still around, and then realized they can replace members at will.

Duh.

Shower felt great, btw.

My wife, her sister and their mother where planning on going to that show - but then the sister and mother both decided they didn't want to go. They're going down to Niagara for a few days in the US and doing some shopping. Instead I think they're just doing the lights at night in Niagara.

From Murray’s perspective, the difference between the Leafs and Sens is huge. The Sens list 5 in the medical department and the Leafs list 17.

Some of that is organizational structure. The Leafs include things like athletic therapists, conditioning coaches, two performance dieticians and their culinary staff as part of their medical team. The Sens don’t have a bunch of those positions and include things like therapists as part of their training staff. There’s a much different focus.

The Leafs have much bigger staffs and I did read a much bigger budget overall, allowing them to bring in top of the line people. I mean Nic Antropov is on staff.
