No, he didnt say that. He said he wasn't going to talk with the media about his contract situation anymore is all. The two sides still had discussions after that... even just a few days before the trade there was another meeting of some sort.

Yup, when they shook hands on the understanding that if the Canucks could trade Miller they would go so and then resign Horvat and make him the next captain in Vancouver canucks history.

Glad to be back in (frank) you Friday, I'm in court today so (frank) you!

While I agree Podz isn't considered a prospect anymore, I think his ability level is that of a blue chip prospect, kinda like OEL, someone who isn't quite good enough to be an NHL regular.
- Pres.cup

Podz has 3 more gaols and 3 more points than Raty in as many AHL games. He is 21 years old. He is on his ELC. He is definitely a prospect.

He is also 1.5 year older than Rat and has significant more NA experience. That’s the reason he isn’t on any prospect lists

I agree. He went from early graduate to ungraduated. It happens.

Agreed. I'd give the edge to Raty due to C over W, but talent wise I think they're in the same tier.

I think Raty has a solid chance to develop into a good 2c. He seems to use his linemates better than Bo from what what I've read.

We'll see, a lot of kids with his skill set sound promising at that age.

We're not that far removed from fantasizing about a Hodgson-Schroeder 1-2 punch or a Horvat/Virtanen/Juoelvi/McCann core to build around

Anf the way he has seemingly improved every year, i say solid chance. Anyone with potential that continually improves, has higher than normal chance to reach that potential.

He goes by Rat. Ouch Liquormaki

Pod isn’t considered a prospect anymore.

Rat
Klim
Liquormaki
Petterson
Truscot
Jurmo

Mcdonaugh isn’t signing so won’t bother listing him. The rest are such incredibly long shots it’s not worth writing their names down

- CanuckDon

McDonough will sign & get an audition cooking off a year of ELC 2/850k be my guess. They’ll try him out to finish off the tank. I don’t see him in the frozen 4 so should be sooner than later.

Some insider said he was unlikely to sign. Regardless, he is a long shot

News to me. Longshot probably but not for the tank audition.

I still haven't heard any insiders say this even though you've brought it up a couple of times. Would love to see your source if you can remember.

I think his agent will support the idea that this team is getting younger and looking for entry level contracts to support the line up. Plus he has a chance at playoffs in Abby as well. Its win win for him... but far from his only option.

Hey, we just got back from Estrellas in Langley. I thought the portions were great, fries were superb, pickles crunchy but they didn't deliver on the quality or taste. We both found it on the dry side and chewy. I would give it a solid 6.5 but not much higher. Seeing the lack of smoke meat places in the area we would go back and overall, aside from the homeless sleeping on their doorstep and the server's filthy aprons it was a decent experience.

Also, Holy Batballs it is effin windy outside.

I don’t recall who it was. He isn’t a prospect I find intriguing so I just skimmed through the quote. Anyone help me out here?

I can’t find it anywhere online. Not sure where I read it but was a few weeks ago. The source said something along the lines of “from conversations I’ve had it’s not looking like he plans to sign with the Cancusk.”

Last march he said he did plan to sign with the team so who knows

I think it would be good to keep him in the system even if he is a long shot.

I haven't been to many smoked meat restaurants to judge. If only a 6.5 I would love to try some better ones!! It definitely is a hole in the wall type place that is more of an industrial area of Langley City which does have many homeless like other City Centers.
