There was a bit of a flop in there but the LB shoulda laid off. Horrible on his part losing his poise. Didn’t think of the situation & made the refs toss the flag. Just another dumb penalty not having the IQ.

After this flag, is when I knew the game was going to KC.

That guy believes there was no holding on the roughing the passer play on Mahomes , just incase you are wondering if he is bias.

To hockey now.

Canucks 1st round bust from last year had this goalie all crossed up.

@ Vantel about the JP talk yesterday.

Seravalli has chimed in now on DAilyface off.
https://www.dailyfaceoff....ial-at-the-trade-deadline

In summary he used two recent Canucks trades actually as possible returns.

To Vancouver: Riley Stillman

Oct. 10, 2021

Aah too many ppl in panic mode. They said he’d be 2-3yrs away from being ready. Explains why a winger picked as BPA & signs of Boeser gone. Lots can happen in that time.

PJ has some skills I like. Essentially I see him as a 3rd wheel with the right duo. Not worth a 3m QO but at 2m I’d see what the cost would be. Hoglander straight up.

Having hope, that the team makes more trades/cleans house, does not equal panic mode, it means they would like to finally see this team headed in the right direction.

I didn't see Forsling for Glendening in those two comparable trades there from Seravalli. I guess if that's how you think. I don't think that worked out too well for the Canucks in the end though.

They seem too patient for a Boeser deal, i would love though especially for d
- neem55

Not sure I would consider it being too patient, more like teams have to find cap space.

Reading comprehension?

Panic mode is Licky is already a bust.

I'd say the trade comparables laid it out pretty good for if the Canucks and Oilers were to make that trade.

Edmonton: Stillman

Canucks: JP and Edm 2nd.

No, that is not panic mode, that is disappointment/frustration from fans, that another soft winger was taken, when centres and defenseman should be the target, at this stage of what was back then, considered minor surgery, as opposed to now, when it is considered major surgery.

The slow descent into facism continues, the hand that holds the leash is as wrong as the jack boots it commands.

Frankly all drugs and everything should be legal as long as it doesn't infringe on another person's bodily autonomy. People kill themselves eating big macs and heart disease as often as with hard drugs.

I'm a weed guy but we shouldn't have full prisons of drug offenders while letting rapists out after several months.

Not even a year has passed. I’d call it standard fans impatience. As for soft that’s far overused by you.

What stellar pick did you have?

23 out of 33 picks in the 2nd round last draft were centers or defensemen.

Been saying the Canucks need to get rid of the loudest and most likely longest serving scouts in that room for a while now.

I heard the Canucks moved the 9th selection in 2021 because they knew William Eklund wasn't going to be there when they picked. Who the (frank) is the scout screaming for soft Swedish wingers every (frank)en draft.

I don't think we see any trades until after the all-star game. It is usually frowned upon, during the weekend where the league likes to showcase the gimmicks of the all star activities.

I wanted McGroary but went 14th. Snuggerud was next up for me. Nobody had Bystedt & the usual whining of another Swede woulda rang out.

Didn’t care for any D at 15th at that time. Now though wish it were Bichsel.

I was pretty clear about who I wanted, Bichsel or Pickering, both went shortly after the Canucks pick.

I was reading yesterday how a player in the late '80's or early '90's was traded during the skills competition.
