Considering human development works different for everyone and some peoples brains are still developing into their 20s, I think it's a little unfair to say they should all be able to handle it that early just because they got the proper training
- NorthNuck

Yes, but the thing is, it's not like they were left unprepared for it. I get people having different stages of development and it's not a deal breaker, but you have to agree at least that it's a potential red flag and doesn't bode well for being clutch

From a NYI fan on Twiiter.

Lou just (frank)ed us up even more for the future. Idc about trading Beau. I care about trading our best Prospect and only Center depth piece and our 2023 draft pick in a very stacked draft

- VanHockeyGuy

Its true that is a hard trade to appreciate.

I get the sense that NYI are a piece or 2 away from being a very good team though. if Horvat plays like how he has played this year in NYI he could break 100pts with Nelson and Barzal. Plus they have the goaltending to make a long run if Sorokin gets hot. It was a tough blow when they lost JT. Horvat coming the other way helps a lot with their MOJO

I agree on Miller wearing the C. Not because I think he's a good leader.

Petey is another lead by example player but I dont think he has the mental fortitude someone like Bo does and this narrow minded fan base would grind him down. Miller on the other hand would request a trade pretty quick.

- boonerbuck

Good afternoon and how are yah.

Miller is hopefully traded next.

Nobody is getting the C until Horvat resigns in the off season after the cap is cleared up by dealing Miller.
Horvat is the next captain.
Dare to dream.

Lot's of Demko chatter lately, these convenient leaks are making the rounds.

LA

DET
BUF(although they have Levi coming and that UPL kid looks okay)

But those top 3 should be interested

Heat pump gave out, got a new one installed today...pricey units!! I need a beer.

Edit: it's truly a baffling phenomenon that people care about the player more than the team. Horvat's a nice kid but he's a creampuff, he can fuck off!!

He has to go East if he goes - no way the Canucks want to see Demko regularly.

Then you just lost out on two of the most desperate teams that need a legit starting goalie. I’d at least use them as leverage to squeeze more out of Yzerman.

With Demko being a SoCal kid I'd think he'd be thrilled to go to the Kings and they'd be thrilled to have him with Quick retiring next year.

(frank)ing rights! I hear you. Replaced my BBQ, AC, fridge and hot tub all in 2022. Sure the roof will follow soon 🤮. It’s even harder getting people to work down there than it is in Vancouver these days. Must be hard for your wife to find staff

When sausage man gave reference to these being great buckets I thought I'd try and find one online, man are they hard to find. Someone wants $800 for a brand new one on ebay they've kept all these years.

I’d take the best offer available. Canucks aren’t going to be making any deep playoff runs that will be ruined by Demko anytime in the next 2-3 seasons minimum. Demko is 27 years old.

That being said, I’d stay patient and wait for a great offer, no need to rush this situation unless he’s actually demanded a trade which I have yet to see said by any credible source or unless there’s real concern about his long term health.

Apparently Linden’s been selling some of his own memorabilia online in auctions and it’s not for charity

Either he no longer gives a poop about the Canucks or he needs the cash flow lol

The next 3-5 years won't matter in that regard if this team is truly rebuilding. I don't care where he goes, I care about what they get back.

It was and is extremely difficult, stressful for sure. She managed to find people though, but it's an ongoing battle and it's not easy dealing with young entitled twats. Mostly the guys, the girls are relatively low maintenance compared to the guys working there. Thankfully the ratio is about five to one.

You have to wonder what the long term plan is.

They’ve signed late 20’s Miller for 7 years, traded away a 2nd to dump JD, bridge deal’s Kuz and traded Bo for futures all within a few months. To me those are two very different set of moves that contradict each other

I was just looking at goalie market over the years and it's very strange. It's really all over the map.

Colorado paid 1st, conditional 3rd if they win the cup and Conor Timmins for Darcy Kuemper.

It is a red flag of course, but sometimes people just aren't ready until later in life.

Check out this guy's career trajectory, definitely a late bloomer.
