On NYI getting Bo it’s obviously for a PO push & try to resign. One thing is Bo had Miller on the PP to pump him up & idk if NYI has the playmakers to feed Bo. Could we free up more cap & resign him?

I agree. Was hoping to see Bo go to Boston, but am okay with this trade.

Hope to see another 4 or 5, by TDL.

B’s👎

They weren’t prepared to move Carlo & I didn’t want his 5 concussions. Lysell big no.

Been reading Isles fans thoughts on him.

It’s not like Beau hasn’t had chances in NYI. He’s been given a look with guys like Barzal and Nelson(more with Nelson) as his Center in the past but I believe lately he’s mostly played with Pageau.

He’s apparently just a meh player who’ll have streaks of play that excite you. I bet he’ll look good during his first 15 or so games in Vancouver but once that excitement wears off then we’ll likely see the Isles version of him.

I like the idea of playing him with EP and trying to pump and dump him eventually

Beauvillier and Demko to the Kings for a 2024 2nd and Quinton Byfield.

Yup.
Got back home to a week of nice weather and then it started to rain!
Crazy amount of water came down on Friday, but we're all good.
Camping trip was cancelled but consolation prize was a great concert on Sunday night.

- dbot

Glad to hear, a months worth of rain in 24 hrs is pretty wild.

Boston just doesn't have much for assets. They will end up with Monahan, and hoist the Cup in June

There's no way he comes back with this management group, not with the way they treated him and BB, even if we dumped say Myers and Boeser for peanuts it's not going to happen. Not to mention that signing Bo means Petterson can't be signed next summer. This deal didn't address the D, so this is a clear loss for the Canucks as Bo was our biggest trade chip and they blew it for an underachieving winger that'll be in the mix with our underachieving wingers for ice time, a C prospect that's got a lot of upside but with major question marks and a protected 1st that if the Isles make the playoffs will end up being a marginal player. It disappointing, but I kind of expected it, seeing as we're the Canucks and we rarely hit home runs.

I hope they don't give anyone the C for the rest of the year
- dbot

I don't think they will, I think we could even see them go next year without one.

Now watch them give it to OEL

He is a 3rd line guy, who can fill in up the lineup, and plays a pressure game when killing penalties. Sounds like a player Tocchet wants.
- Reubenkincade

We’re weak on the wings for the forecheck. Do this retool right & Beau makes a good 3rd wheel in the top 6. Luv me these trades & an appetite for more Go Go Go lol

It’ll be on Pettersson’s jersey, likely before this year is up. They want the best player driving the bus, just like in Carolina and Pitt
