They wanna re-tool and turn this team around in 2 years.

Step 1: trade 27 year old 30+ goal scoring center

Step 2: find Center

There's lots of interest apparently, someone will pay him, now or in July.

GM’s are stupid. He will get a big contract from someone.

I don't mind Carlo, Boston doesn't want to disrupt their roster.

Likely they are out on Bo.

A 26/yo stay at home d man who will be 27 when next season starts as the main piece? Lysell is a small Swede winger... no thanks.

An interesting set of odds today on BCLC hockey. More for guys that like to bet bigger like VHG and LH. The St L / Wpg game odds.

St L win pays 29.00 for a win on a 10-dollar bet.

The spread is 1.5 goals WPG with a payout of 2.15 (I placed the bet last night and the payout was 2.25) but still pretty well guarantees a win or break even, except if WPG win by one goal. That is the only outcome that can make you lose everything.

I bet 10 @ 2.8 for a St L win 28.00
I also bet 18 @2.25 For Wpg >1.5 goals 40.50

Guaranteed to win or get my money back unless one goal win by the Jets.

Sorry for boring most of you, just posting this for some of the gamblers.

Last rumour was he wanted something above $8 million, hence the+ sign at the end.
- BINGO!

I doubt it. There hasn't been a ask rumor saying this. Just speculation. There has been offer rumors for 6.5 so most likely 8 is in the ball park on the counter. They prob could get it done splitting the difference for 7-8 years but this management doesn't think they should pay him more than Boeser.

This team is too sh!tty to be handing out retirement contracts to players in their late 20’s. Full stop. Not to mention that we have a brutal room and leadership and Bo is at the center of the problem

Why would Boston do that? DeBrusk rescinded his trade request when Cassidy left. They need Carlo.

You are probably right. Sounds like they are going to part with Larkin. I doubt they want to pay both Larkin and Horvat. Larkin would be a sideways move at best... even a step back at basically the same age and less production.

Don’t like it for the Canucks … either.

But most of us are expecting to be disappointed on Horvat - no trade - or less then trade.

I would wager Yzerman looks at a Larkin-Horvat duo. They have some good wingers, but Larkin is their only top 6 quality centre.

Larkin and Horvat are different players but fill the same role. Detroit needs a 1C, not two 2Cs.

NYE and Bo wasn’t drinking bacause they had a meaningless game the next day. In hindsight, that was a huge red flag. I like Bo but the organization needs major changes

They have a young team that desperately needs a taste of winning and playoffs. Larkin is a defensively responsible 1C who is good at passing. Horvat is a face-off beast who can score goals and is a top end 2c/low end 1c. As for puck distribution, they have wingers that can do this for Horvat to make a better line. I feel like he makes a great target if they can lock him up.
