Fair, but when will people understand the internet is not a safe space. It's actually the exact opposite. It's a dangerous space with monsters lurking. Blows me away what people share. Those same people are all butt hurt when things get weird or harmful.

If you share personal information on here while being inflammatory and/or toxic, be prepared to be a target. Regardless if right or wrong, it will happen. Keep personal info off the internet, but if you want to share while drawing attention to yourself then don't yelp when things go sideways.

Definitely worth a latte face mask.

Yes thank you. I’ve always found it puzzling more people don’t hate the guy. He is the worlds most boring man and he dominates local news radio for some reason.

The chances of that actually being Lordy is slim to none. The guys got a wedding ring on. Lordy's already shared that he's got a girlfriend, not a wife.

Plus, that guy's pretty dapper. Lordy's more of a MAGA hat and wing-sauce stained wife beater... Just joking Lordy.

Ya it’s strange. Who cares what anybody looks like anyways. This should be anonymous. I just assume all of you are short, fat and ugly. And that’s fine that’s how I prefer it.

I was listening to Frank Seravelli yesterday and he had some good comments.

One question he answered was "are NYI on the outside no circling back to a JTM trade". His answer was simply no one ever knows what Uncle Lou is thinking but he definitely should take a second look at trading for Miller.

The other thing was should Canucks let Bo talk to other teams about a contract extension and he said absolutely not. He then referred to the Boston signing of Lindholm hours after the trade to a very complex multiyear signing.

He said letting other GMs talk to Bo beforehand will lower the value seeing they can just wait a few months and get him for free. He said when it is narrowed down to one team who is serious and have the best offer then it may be alright.

This part is bang on, and for as much crap we give this front office, a good move on their part. Plus if Bo ends up really liking a specific team or a specific team offers more than the others , he might tell the other GM's to (frank) off and really screw the Canucks. I believe the Sharks are doing the same with Timo Meier.

I still think Bo likes Det. Two-hour drive to London Ont Little Gunner can go visit Grandma any week and far enough away to avoid the unexpected drop ins.

All they should be doing is finding out what teams he is willing to sign with (short list) and they can let the GM know he is willing to discuss extension after the trade. That alone will bump his value a little bit.

I think they're playing this the right way. Not worth the risk of letting Bo and his agent narrowing down the list to only 1 or 2 teams, killing the bidding war. He has a young family and his next team/city is where his kids will grow up, it makes sense for him to be picky.

I disagree, get that short list. You don't need to tell a GM that they aren't on it. But maybe it becomes something you can use to entice a GM that is into pulling the trigger.

I think Meier's situation is different since he's an RFA and his QO could scare teams off. Knowing you can have an extension in place at a lower AAV with him probably increases his value, rather than lowering it.

Bo doesn't have an NTC, so you can still just trade him to the highest bidder regardless of whether or not he'll sign there. I don't think it'll necessarily knock anyone out of the running.

I would be very happy to see Rasmussen Zadina come back in a move for Bo. About three mil in cap for the next two to three years and both decent players to fill in the roster. I would take that and a second-round pick if it was on the table.

Like Lefty said you have to wait for the final picture to see if we did good or more of the same crap as last year.

I think Yzerman would be all over that. Zadina really has minimal value at this point, he's still not a legit full time NHL player and is waiver eligible so basically that trade is Rasmussen and a 2nd round pick for Horvat, which would be a heist for Yzerman.

Decent chance you can get Zadina in a Studnicka type of trade.

You can but then you are trading him as a rental and the value lowers. If you trade him as part of the future, like Detroit who has a lot of cap room they become the frontrunners because of the return.

Marek is just such a (frank)ing loser. I want to jam him into my highschool locker badly. He never says anything remotely interesting.

Yeah he seems like someone who still can't believe he gets to talk about hockey. He was better before he was put more in the spotlight and on 32 thoughts.
