This was a particularly brutal one tho.

i'm all good with the 3-4 or 2-3 losses...Kuzy and Bo with goals and Myers and OEL sh!tting the bed.

Tonight's game was a beating.

I'm actually glad it was a beating. Take the wind out of the sails of whatever positive momentum they might have into thinking they're anything other than a poop team. There's a lot of work to do and we don't need Ruthy thinking that keeping the band together with a new coach is the thing to do.

Hopefully it just pushes them sooner into selling off Bo and Schenn.. hopefully even Garland or Boeser... and ideally JTM and Kuzy but that's doubtful.

Yeah, but that first practice in front of the media and that game against the mighty Hawks
- Nucker101

If they really want wins they need to rotate the 3 head coaches they are paying and that way they're in a perpetual 'bump'. Draw straws for who's behind the bench for the playoffs.

For sure.
I see it as people just playing for their jobs at this point.
Auditioning for trades and jobs next year.

Pretty much. With the season the team has had, bleak future, and the management hatchet job, I don't see any players wanting to sign here in the summer. It'll either be overpay or bottom-of-the-barrel players if they can snag players... so looking like drafting and trading is the way out of this mess, which I'm fine with

It does get a bit confusing about what fans want...

People complain of 'country clubs' and players mailing it in, but then scoff when grinders get ice time.

Go hard for Bedard I say.

Changed your anti tank location just before your first pro tank speech. Priceless.

Coach Tocc gonna give people in here some boners:

"That was bad. You hate to call your team soft, but it was soft."

"There were two opportunities to go north with it (puck) and win a battle, but for some reason, we regroup and the weak-side winger is staying wide and nobody wants the puck. I’ve been here a short time and was told this group has a tough time putting predictable efforts together."

"There are holes we have to fill and get that leadership group stronger and a more resilient team."

Well, next to the Flyers. One of two teams who’ve never changed their crest.

- LeftCoaster

You have to admire the teams that have stuck to their traditions. Maybe if the Nucks had a 7th jersey and logo they would play better lol.

Good to see Provorov jerseys sell out everywhere.

Need a rocket fueled tank here to streak to the bottom 5...

But Bettman says there is no tanking in Hockey too much integrity.

On record.

He definitely should. Only 14 points out of the last WC spot with 11 weeks left. Lots of time for a big push. This team is really clicking outside of their goaltending, defensively so sound and never hang their goalie out to dry. 2-8 in their last 10? Would be 10-0 if they had a goalie good enough to pitch a shutout every game

1st bold-only twice? This team has had this issue for at least 4 years now.
2nd bold-clueless wingers, who have very low willingness to do the work, unless it will directly lead to a scoring chance.
3rd bold-he isnt wrong, that is a clear shot at Bo, Miller, OEL, the leaders who wear letters, Pouty & Myers. Schenn is exempt, as the only leader on the team who plays the right way.

Edit; also a shot at management for assembling a bad mix of players.
