I think these are all up for debate. As for captain, as much as I think Bo can improve on the ice as a captain, I have to admit he's handled the off-ice circus this year very well. His own contract status, the team struggling, JR calling out Bruce and the team, the Bruce firing situation, etc.

Top 6 centers are not easy to find, and Miller sticking as a 2C is no sure thing. Plus even if Miller does stick there, you've now lost a top line power winger since he's moving to center, who are this team's top wingers without Miller? And we still have the 3C hole.

No easy way out of this

- Nucker101

Moving Bo is losing a power C & also why should be a solid haul. It costs to get a player of his skill set.

Gotta give to get & retool this thing.

If it doesn't work out with Miller we always have Studnicka

Bo gone helps the tank no doubt. I expect McDonough will get a look at 3C once he signs.

Yeah, but my worry is that they'll fill one weakness and create a new one

Too bad they were too worried about how it looked if they dumped Boeser. They sh!t all over their image anyways in the end.

This team is going to be assfkd down the middle. They used a 2nd to dump their 3rd line C, going to trade their 1st line C... going to bank on a winger to be their replacement C.... mostly because they are paying him for that.

I said it when they signed Miller.... now they got to move Bo and once you do that, you may as well keep going because it's going to completely fall apart anyways. The rebuild has to happen if Bo gets moved.

I laughed to myself also 😂😂😂

I wasn't laughing because of the Canucks winning a lottery, I was laughing at you, because you have made a couple comments over the last couple days about the lottery, which were both wrong.

You may want to check the rules on how the draft lottery now works.

Yes that will happen. Bo won’t be replaced & it hurts the C depth but it’s more than one piece in the package. Who or what is what we will go ape shlt over one way or the other lol

We all seem to be in agreement that wingers should be the lowest priority as they're the easiest to replace, they fall in the draft, they're cheaper to acquire in trades, there's more decent ones in free agency than there are C/D.

Yet the consensus also seems to be sign Kuz and trade Bo.

A little funny, no?

My way is the rebuild, but yes my re-tool way is sign the 30-40 goal 27 year old center

Well you are wrong. 💯 incorrect. If you want to blow up the room Bo has to go. No single move will be this impactful. He can sign his retirement co tract elsewhere

well my blow it up scenario does involve trading Bo so I agree with you there

But if the goal is to make the playoffs within the next 2 seasons(which it is), you're not helping yourself by trading the 30-40 goal faceoff beast center.
