Top 10 player in the league. According to Boudreau. lol
- LordHumungous

Boudreau is yesterday's news.

All joking aside, I think Petey is definitely climbing the charts.

I laughed at his comment, not Lord Micro Penis, because here is a guy who claims racism, everything, yet makes that comment when a person of Italian descent gets called up.

Pretty hypocritical of him, if you ask me.

Never looked at it that way but I get your point.

Lordy and I were just adding the next line of the song but I get what you mean.

Just using something you have said many times, the line number is set by an NHL coach not some fans who don't know the game, so the player or line that plays the most is the #1.

3 straight coaches, including Tocchet last night play Horvat, more than any other forward. Now, if Pouty was on Bo's wing, I would say he is 1st line.

Just because you and Lefty, want him to be #1, doesn't make it so.

Good for Bo! He is the number 1 Beta on a trash team. Can’t wait until he is in the Ring of Hero’s

I did something like this a couple of years ago when people were wailing about Bo and his lack of hitting. I listed the top 2 centers from all teams and it was amazing how many of them had less or only a few more hits than him. Its was a minority that had significantly more hits than him. Something like 1/3 or 1/4 at the time...
- boonerbuck

I always enjoy your takes on things, most of the time pretty bang on. I know you like Bo. I think most of the fan base respects his game and his compete level. How can you not like a guy that has 30 goals two years in a row.

I have mixed feelings about moving him TBH. I like the guy he is a hardworking, honest player. He is skilled and honestly I have nothing really bad to say about the player or the person.

I do think it is time though to move on. The good guy mentality of this team that has been here back to the Linden Sedin Naslund era type leadership has gone sour for me. I don't want the relax it will happen soon attitude for the club. I want a leader that hates losing.

Like I said I do like Bo but think it is time for a change.

Hard to argue that. When the team improves he’ll move up from where he already is. He’s already improving at his own pace.

Because Bo has more TOI now would you build your team from scratch around him as your #1?

He's not top 10 in the league. He's a good player and he will likely get there but he's not there yet.

I accepted he was a goner the second the Miller signing was announced and stated it right away. Not just that but I saw no other way to restock this team after that signing other than moving Bo, as I also stated. Miller was the asset for that, then he wasn't. Now it's Bo.

Bo is one player. You don't need to move him to change the culture of this team. You can add that to it... but they really screwed up their options especially after signing Brock and Miller.

As much as miller shows emotions and has grit... his culture is that of a lazy fkn goof with no accountability. If he's the one who is going to lead by example, then he's going to ruin a lot of young players.

Bo’s a nice kid, and a good player, but he’s not captain material or a guy who’s going to take the team for a ride on his back most nights. He’s part of the bad mix of players on the team. They aren’t poop players, they’re just poop together.

The team, the city, the province, needs a captain with some grit as well as being talented. Like I said yesterday, if someone cross-checked an Ottawa player into the net in front of Brady Tkachuk he would’ve at least grabbed the guy and gave him a face wash, let ‘em know you can’t do that without consequences. He doesn’t have to fight but at least stand up for your guys. Even Landeskog will fight and he’s a Swede for cryin out loud. Last time Horvat fought I was in my 40’s.

This is just a bunch of recycled bullpoop. We all watched Bo put the team on his back in the playoffs... so much for that claim. Brady Tkachuck blah blah blah.... he wont be a great leader because he may or may not do something violent. That's irrelevant as a Captain. If fact, with BT's antics, you are more likely to get his own players head hunted after one of his low life cheap shots.

I would say yeah to this. I am truly hoping he got tired of playing with a bunch of country club players and gave up. I don't expect a new resurgence, but fun to dream.

Yeah, just like Juolevi put the Finns on his back that one time in the world juniors. I said on most nights, not one playoff series. He needs to go!!

He played with more heart than anyone on the team in his first playoff series in his rookie season. More than the Sedins and Bieksa who has all that grit and character he is so known for...

Not just one playoff series but 2 you braindead weasel. I corrected you last time you claimed he only had a sniff of playoffs once.
