They did rely too much on goaltending last year though.
- SMP8719

It didn't help the Rangers, when they signed a 3rd line centre, in Trochek, to replace a 2nd line centre, in Strome.

Yeah they did. They could use some more scoring.

Brock did NOT ask for a trade, have an article with Thomas Drance coming out later on today with more clarification.

JFC……

Mario was still better, suck it bloated.

“Wayne Gretzky holds the record for longest point streak at 51 games. He had 61 goals & 92 assists for 153 points during that run. Let that sink in for a sec. #TheGreatOne”

The trade drama, though, that’s sideshow stuff. What matters more is how this latest bit of self-inflected Canucks drama offers a window into an organization struggling with alignment at seemingly every level. -DRance.

Still, how does it make sense to scratch Boeser if you’re an organization that’s trying to trade him? That only hurts the club’s severely diminished leverage in trade talks. -Drance

It’s turning into a sideshow comedy. Honestly, I played professional hockey, I’ve followed the professional game for many years. I just can’t believe what continually happens with management of the organization. They’re a complete train wreck, and that says a lot considering what they replaced.

It’s turning into a bigger sideshow comedy act, than the Benning years..Honestly, I have never played professional hockey, but, I’ve followed the professional game for many decades. I agree. This management has run in circles in it's first season. Benning took a couple of years to run in a full circle and he didnt have the benefit of hind sight like this crew did.

………..

Did you read the story Cheech told on Twitter about eating a hotdog on the bench and suddenly he had to go in so he tucked the hotdog into his pad and the first save he made mustard came squirting out LOL!!

I’m having a hard time not only watching them but cheering for them anymore. And that says a lot for a guy who’s followed them since he was a kid many years ago.

They were way more entertaining in the early 70s than they are today.

Athletes were a different breed back then. Seen photos of Gump Worsley and Lafluer smoking and drinking between periods.

Cheech is definitely old school fun.

The side show has become too much for the on ice product to be enjoyable unless they are winning nightly.

I’d honestly be more entertained if they were losing, at least I‘d know there’s an end-goal.

I have been watching a lot more of these young up and coming teams, like Buffalo, Anaheim, Detroit,Ottawa and even Montreal.
They are a lot more entertaining to watch and all of them are going to be good teams in a couple years.

He isn’t owning up to his end in it all. Canucks have been patient & understanding through all his injuries & family issues.

So somehow between his junior career and his first few years on HB, he played in the AHL?
