Seravelli: There are probably a number of people in the Canucks front office today that are cursing Bruce Boudreau. Saying “What a drama queen. Can’t believe he played it up so much” and things like that.

Right...what the hell has been going on that you have to remind them the fundamentals of the game?

I think this is a lot of smoke and mirrors. I think RT winning percentage was announced at something like .465% and he won something like 165 games out of 550 (not exact numbers) missed the playoffs five of six years and got bounced the first round he made the POs.

I think he is here to piss off a few players that are locked in long term and make them want to leave.

Was talking to a friend this morning who said the same. That Tocchet is the temporary hardass here and Colliton is their long term choice.

Not sure I buy it. No one wants OEL. They’re not moving Miller. Myers’ deal expires in like 15-16 months anyway.

Boeser doesn’t have a NTC.

I think Tocchet is just a guy that JR really likes since he knew he couldn’t convince a guy like Trotz to come here.

He is a drama queen. So is the fanbase and media. Poor Bruce getting paid $2 million to watch wrestling.

Wasn't he a disaster coaching in Kelowna?
- Marwood

Yes, but now he's *Just doing defence* and it's all going to be better.

Would’ve liked to see a more experienced dman coach. Gonchar apparently is only part-time but did help Pitt’s dmen.

Oates would’ve been interesting to replace King. Could’ve ran the powerplay but also help players individually, Horvat and Schenn both credit him for helping them improve.

I wonder if Yeo will still be around next year or if Tocchet will want another one of his boys to join him.

We’ll see how this staff does.

Wasn't there a rumor about two months ago Myers for Zaitsev and Myers nixed it?

Thought this is pathetic, does someone need to fire back regarding Babcock and then his replacement on their payroll? Nucks have 3 coaches making barely more than him. And he is still being paid this season as it ran until the end of this season.

Isn't Zaitsev in the minors now? That would say a lot about the Canucks if he was playing in the AHL and said no thanks to Vancouver

She looked like she was going to cry when Bruce was standing on the bench at the end of the game in tears as the fans chanted. PA had this look of disaster on his face and Granato looked mad. Missing from the pic... Rutherford....

I'm not so sure everyone in the front office was happy with how this was handled to be honest.

Assuming you know this already, but I'll say it anyway, they're not just going to go and blinding teach them something for the sake of it. Trust me, they've already had a chance to look at video and see issues with how those players are playing the game. They could watch a 30 minute video of Quinn Hughes and Tyler Myers and make a 27 minute video on mistakes defending.

It's good to have more coaches and managers who want to do their jobs from the east coast of the US. Team building and accountability.

Alain Vigneault is making 5 million a year from the Flyers for the next several years to sit at home and watch TV...I wish I could be a failed coach.
