Bo is getting traded and Tocchet sounded unsure shouting using his top skill players like EP on the PK.

Which is fine as long as actually have decent PK’ers to replace them. I wonder if we do see more Beagle-like signings in the future.

- Nucker101

I was just referring to the current group and how the rest tend to struggle, some of which is due to the poor defensive formation and the lack of puck pressure, while on the PK.
I do believe the team will look for a Beagle type, someone who can win a faceoff and kill penalties. There is a reason why guys like Bellemare are still being employed in this league, by good teams.

How in hell is that cheerleading? Lol

I want a style that skates & pressures & works hard coming back on D. The offence will be there.

Cannot remember the last time we won 3-2 or 2-1 like any good team does. Til that happens the gap remains huge to being good.

Just (frank)ing around but let's break it down:

"Blue collar work ethic has always been appreciated in Canuckville." Where is it not appreciated? Sounds like a sound bite from today's presser.

"It’s time to reinvent it team deep" Isn't that what we've been discussing... for the last two seasons?

"like in the day Linden was our captain. He brought it every game. Warriors win." There's your flag.

I think it’s Eva Green, and my wife could care less what I do on HB.

I’m trying to come up with a good Tocchet one…

After the Benning fiasco of bringing in these types at 3 million per, I don't blame anyone about being apprehensive about signing those types, for that role.
Those types, like Lazar are 1 million to 1.5 tops, but very valuable to the team.

This team is a mess and it will be awhile before they get there, but Tocchet said rebuild and PA said it would take time, and Rutherford said major surgery. Basically all saying there is a bunch of major changes, which in my eyes, is a rebuild, although my preference is to get rid of this whole group of players, I am smart enough to know, that isn't happening.

On the flag…

Bo lacks what Linden brought. Aka not a complete 200’ player. Never see Bo aggressive anywhere or finishing every check.

Not the leader TL was.

I used to work with a guy that could be his twin. Biggest asshole on the face of the planet ( yes even bigger than Lord micro penis). Probably part of the reason I can’t stand Tochett.

I think he's talking about this group.

The HB group.

The disaffected and disillusioned fan base.

I tune out white noise & 1 sided only narratives. Waste of time to whine about it pointing fingers. I prefer more of a direct approach.

My blame game is quite simple…

Mgmt inherited JB’s mess
Mgmt cannot fix the PK
Bo isn’t a complete captain
The D corp are trash

Summary: going to be more pain

Wow.

I think if it was that simple it would have been fixed already. This is years upon years of screwups. I think right now they are throwing desperation darts and hoping it hits.

I see Tochett as nothing more than a hatchet man coming in to clean house. I think he will be gone before his two-and-a-half-year contract, a hopefully drags a few people with him.

Far from simple. Kept my blame a short list. The real work to be done is immense. Unravelling is tops & cap flexibility & allotment & the biggest of all a total rebuild of the D.

Roster redesign will take 2-3yrs if done well longer if not.
