Haven't you been jumping all over slurpers and guzzlers for the last six months? It took you 17 minutes jump on board the Tochet Rocket express bandwagon.

Sounds like Tocchet's going to spread out the minutes more evenly than Bruce did

I honestly think he's closer to Green than Torts. Guys like Torts are very rare nowadays.

Still can’t believe people defended his 1-2-3-4 strategy after that playoff defeat.

I just assumed it was his regular season method to keep everytime fresh and happy but then he just never stopped in the playoffs

- Nucker101

No kidding. And yet still not even close to the worst coaching we’ve seen in the last decade.

Sweet. The Willie D ice time philosophy. We haven’t tried that in a bit.
- CubanBuffet

It isn't about rolling 4 lines continually, it is about having players on 3rd and 4th lines, being able to handled special teams duties, you know, like good teams do.
This using of top 6 players for 22-24 minutes, every night, turns you into the bottom of the barrel, when it comes to PK, as has been proven here.

I don't even like Tocchet, but if he passes off the analytic community, then I might become a fan.

As long as we keep the drop pass entry on the PP, i'm good.
- dbot

If anything we should be using it more. It couldn’t possibly make the PK any worse.

From RT what I want to see is players are accountable big contract players included. Don’t make kids ride the pine if make a mistake unless same for the vets.

Install your system & give it the time to get rooted. Fix the effin PK. Ask for more from the vets. Players don’t bust ass on forechecks & backchecks get SOME pine time. Get the D smacking more bodies. Net front on D nobody camps out. Other stuff I’ll reserve for later.

I’m just grinding your gears. I have no problem with ice time being handed out to players that earn it. I’m just not sure that the bottom six has or can. Although the top six arguably hasn’t either. That might have something to do with where the Canucks find themselves.

Blue collar work ethic has always been appreciated in Canuckville. It’s time to reinvent it team deep like in the day Linden was our captain. He brought it every game. Warriors win.

Ya, I don't think this group of bottom 6 players is the right group, but something needs to change. When you can only kill off 2/3rds of your penalties, something has to give.
After the pair of Bo and Pouty, the rest of the PK guys seem to get crushed.

Bo is getting traded and Tocchet sounded unsure shouting using his top skill players like EP on the PK.

Which is fine as long as actually have decent PK’ers to replace them. I wonder if we do see more Beagle-like signings in the future.

How in hell is that cheerleading? Lol

I want a style that skates & pressures & works hard coming back on D. The offence will be there.

Cannot remember the last time we won 3-2 or 2-1 like any good team does. Til that happens the gap remains huge to being good.

3-2 is the new 2-1 and 4-3 is the new 3-2 and so on

I’d love to know how many 2-1 games we’ve seen this year compared to 4-5 years ago

I think it’s Eva Green, and my wife could care less what I do on HB.

I’m trying to come up with a good Tocchet one…
