These 2 have done more damage in 1 season, than Benning did in 1 season. These 2 are complete fucking douchebags.
- Reubenkincade

I don’t agree, other than further screwing up the cap situation they haven’t pooched the future away for immediate gains. Yes they traded a second round pick away for a 7th defenceman but they haven’t traded any youth for a guy who’s good in a scrum or any first round picks. They also managed to get a 3rd round pick for Hamonic used to draft DPetey.

They seem to be a classless bunch though, I’ll agree with that!

Tocchet should be ashamed of himself. Another douchebag, but what do you expect, he is a former Flyer.
He will probably sit with Ditso and Bozo tonight, then we can call them the 3 stooges.

- Reubenkincade

I really don’t understand why he wants any part of this?

Actually they have. They traded their best RHD prospect for Stillman.

Edit: They gave up Myrenberg in the Studnicka trade.

They gave up a second for Stillman.

They also traded their third (higher pick than Winnipegs) for Dermott who has played qbout 25 games only and ate up half the gained cap space.

Anyways they are trading high draft picks and best prospects exactly like you hated with Benning.

Not really sure why Tocchet gets thrown under the bus? Was he supposed to turn down a potential job of coaching in the NHL again because the guy in charge dragged it out and made it public? Not his fault for how JR acted through all this (that we know of)

In the "worst kept secrets" department: All signs point to tonight being Bruce Boudreau's last game as #Canucks head coach.

A Monday press conference to officially announce the coaching change is expected, with Rick Tocchet (who arrives in Van this wknd) set to take over.

Trade Bo quickly. Get the new Defensive Coach to try to teach this team that was assembled to outscore and not care about D. Sit back and watch them sink and collect top 3 draft pick.

If the Canucks were smart, which clearly isn't the case, they'd be targeting young centers and defencemen, a bad need within the organization. You rarely win these trades or get a major windfall from the them so they need to build depth at those positions imo and get the best young players at those positions as they can. I just don't think the Bruins can offer that.

Potato/ patato.

Stillman for D1ckenson and a second.

Canucks gave up a third a year earlier to get JD then a year later trade the perfectly capable NHL forward and a second-round pick to get Stillman who is quite often a healthy scratch and then go trade for a center who has be a healthy scratch for games.

I can't believe anyone is defending this new groups track record with this team.

Well you aren’t telling the truth so I’ll respond. They paid a second to dump a trash player but had to take a contract back. It was effectively a second for Bear. Acting like they paid a pick to acquire Stillman is dishonest or negligent

When I said damage, I meant overall damage, not just referring to picks, as that is a very small aspect of what management does.

D1ckenson did fine on Dallas and is just fine on Chicago. He has more points and has played more games than his replacement Studnicka.

What you mean to say is he is one of many players that have come to this team that can't figure out their ass from their elbow and played well below their standard. That list is long. You should not confuse NHL players with players coming here and sucking.

Anyways it was another terrible trade by this clown show.

Or, that extremely overrated Russian 3rd line winger, Mikheyev, which ultimately cost the 2nd round pick.

Those were all great signings, especially Mikheyev, he has helped the team move the needle, so much more than Dickinson.

We're not the ones making these moves

Ownership and management deserve this team, outside of the cheerleaders, I doubt anyone in here supports even half the moves this team has made over the past 8-10 years so why do we deserve this?
