And that there is the rub

Personally, as long as he isn't out there spewing hate or gay bashing. Couldn't care less what his views are. Even though you know some clown is going to make a big deal and start a fight about it.

I just saw Elite prospects top 64 draft rankings. These public rankings are getting worse and worse. It's as if everyone is trying to hit their own home run.

Something like that. They answer to JD, I believe.

Cam Robinson has got to have a pretty good say. I don't know anyone else that has to add every player under 5'10" into the first round no matter what. I posted their top 40 in the draft class blog.

Mitch Brown, David St. Louis, Joey Padmanabhan, Russ Cohen were also involved.

Not should they, it's his right to not wear it, a lot of people would not wear one either due to their personal views and beliefs.
Just because you choose not to wear items of support or not to wave a flag, does not mean you hate either, just believe differently, which is all of our rights.

- onesmallleap

I agree. I think inclusiveness should include his right to his own beliefs as long as they don't cause any harm. Otherwise it's hypocrisy.

Interesting.

I can see where you are coming from. There have always been different sides to the debates, and I agree the internet unites and builds the tension.

I can understand why he chose not to wear it. And I can also understand why a LGBTQ hockey fan or player would be upset by this. I think both sides should be free to express themselves.

Canucks blockbuster on the 25th of February.

Boeser and a first for Nurse. They just need to find Allvin in time to sign off.

wow you're dumb as (frank) for someone trying to be on a high horse. She literally left to pursue opportunities that pay better and look better on a résumé than working for Eklund at Hockeybuzz.

She barely posted in the comments sections outside of maybe the first page, I bet most of the time she posted her blogs and never even bothered to click on the comments like most bloggers.

Correct. But that's not how MSM state run media will spin it unfortunately.

Saw that there has been interest and talk about Boeser for a while now but most talks have come down to Canucks taking back a bad contract or salary retention to make a trade happen. Either way, it could have happened if the Canucks were not re-tooling.

He has 26 points in 35 games. He's not good in many facets of the game but he is still 25th in PPG for RW in the league. Mikheyev is 30th.

Odd to think they are top line producing right wingers across the league, even Garland at half a PPG is 47th.

Josh Anderson has 15 points in 43 games and has 4 more seasons at 5.5M

Anybody that thinks Canucks players are overpaid compared to the rest of the league is nuts. (Except for Myers and OEL)

None of this is towards you specifically btw.

Cap isn't 40M anymore it's not 60 either. It's 80 and going up. A middle 6 winger used to be 3M is now 5M.

I do.

Too many of the same types out there. Team could use at least a couple more 2 way forwards.

Some players that are willing to initial contact and not just take it.

Elias Pettersson is 4th among forwards in hits. Hits per 60 he is 12th but Pearson, Hoglander, Podkolzin, Aman are all not playing. It pretty well is the two 4th lines of Studnicka, Joshua, Lockwood, Dries, Pederson, and Lazar ahead of him. Plus Miller.

Garland, Horvat, Boeser, Mikky, Kuzmenko are all throwing less hits per 60 then the underweight tall lanky kid.

Big game tonight.
6-4 Lightning, Eliasx2, Bo and Studnicka with the goals.
Stamkos with his 500th.

Luke Schenn leaves with Tampa.

Also, going to be a big tribute tonight for the legend, Gino Odjick.

Pouty gets fired up over the Gino video clips and takes on Brayden Point.
