In a season like this one following last season there is bound to be lots of frustrations & disappointments. It’s a load on everyone from Mgmt to players to fans. The sky is falling now with hacks & rumours & fans guessing about all things. We all know it’s been a shltstorm like never before but let’s see how it unravels to justify it even more or keep an open mind til then. I’m neutral & not optimistic yet til the dominos fall. I further believe it’s only the beginning of going down the road of some more tough times. Once moves have been made then time to reset my outlook as to where this Titanic is going.

Rutherford is at a loss & sounds like a beaten man. He had a vision but is changing gears. Dominos time baby.

Watched the presser just now. It’s far different than reading text & ppl putting their deciphering opinions into it.

I mean....at least they learned not to pay for a career year like they did with Miller lol
- canucksfan1944

It wasn't even after a contract year when Miller inked his deal. That's this season when we're seeing the real Miller but b!tch is already guaranteed money he doesnt deserve.

Bo the only player on this team to hit 30 goals more than once... two seasons running now. Most likely will break 45 if healthy. A true center... really can't decide what Miller is yet other than a c*nt.

This is a group that thinks paying a player 7 million for a career high 15 goals is fine because he might 1 day be a 20 goal scorer, but a proven 5x 20 and a 2x 30 goal scorer should get less than Boeser.

In his time here Miller has out scored Bo & he drives play & on the PP. Bo is what he is but lacks that.

As for Miller & his gaffs it’s low hanging fruit but he can clean up & less of it.

If major surgery is truly gonna happen bring it on. Reuby wants a total teardown but a substantial retool aka rebuild is a good start.

JR saying major surgery leads me to believe big trades have been discussed. Immovable contracts stick around being OEL & Myers. Boeser teams poke around but not prepared yet to pull the trigger so if not traded close to the TDL it’s either in the offseason or stays after the dust settles. Bo is a goner. Kuz is anyone’s guess. Schenn if to TB I prefer that & more likely to resign here. Garland is still my whipping boy to get an asset(s).

This team is way more rudderless than it was under Benning the last couple of seasons.

That’s ignoring that hand that was dealt. They did sign Miky though but he’s looked like value. Boeser extension didn’t have much wiggle room. Miller signing in the end was not letting him walk. Stay tuned lol

BB it isn’t his coach. Why be nice or phoney about it? FA’s boy not his.
- Nighthawk

Right...but JR took credit for BB when he arrived saying that FA contacted him for consultation and BB was on JR's shortlist.

So when everyone was all "Bruce there it is"... he's taking credit for it.... but now that it's "Bruce there it was", it's not his guy.

Complete BS. 1) it was Burke who messed up the relationship with Bure. Offering him a contract secretly in CDN not USD.
2)Quinn didn't ruin the Gretzky signing, it has been admitted that he had a handshake deal in place and Gretzky wanted to wait until the next morning to sign the deal. Our then owner forced Quinn to call back and get it done right away, and Gretzky said "fvck you". He was then forced to get the next biggest name, which was Messier. get facts straight before smearing someones name.

Sounds like the relationship between Quinn and Bure was better than with the rest of the head office.

You twist it slightly but ok idc. Lol

Here you go overboard. Explain what makes you believe JR wanted him back? My answer zero evidence.

The dreamers say blow it up to the ground that’s so easy any dummy can see it.

Only piece missing is no GM(s) dumb enough to oblige but heh just say it & ‘there it is’.

Then no matter what the hate & vitriol will still follow no matter what.
