I agree 1000% but these idiot fans aren't going to revolt, so the only thing I'm expecting is this management to trade away a 1st to try and fix this sinking ship ba of course it wont work.

They have in the past. Late 90s were a bleak time inside Rogers Arena. I remember Burke threatening to move the franchise with that “quarter and a phone booth” remark.

Fans will only take so much and you’re starting to see attendance decline. Reselling market on Canuck tickets has completely collapsed according to a friend who has season tickets. I’m sure Aquaman is feeling it.

It’s a known fact that you can always go to Canucks games for like half the price if you wait until mid-February onward.

Meanwhile during the Prez trophy era, apparently people would easily profit when buying season tickets and selling tickets individually. That’s why there used to be a long waiting list for them and now season tickets start to go on sale(they even had a Black Friday sale for them out of desperation lol)

Boeser benching is going to attract attention on HNIC, not for the right reasons.
- VanHockeyGuy

Yep. Maybe that idiot Maclean can reference how great Kelly Sutherland was in 2011 too.

One of the reasons why me and the wife were season ticket holders for 17 years and the reason why we stopped. Never an issue to sell your tickets during those days. Demand was nuts. But in 2013, things started to change. Maybe it was Canuck fatigue or maybe fans could sense the down cycle was coming.

That's the last time we had a rebuild and drafted the Sedins.

I saw someone post a photo of their weather app from PG, but it could have been the overnight low. Either way, gross.

Jeff Passan

BREAKING: Right-hander Jacob deGrom has signed a five-year, $185 million contract with the Texas Rangers, sources tell ESPN. Physical is passed. Deal is done. Includes conditional sixth-year option that would take total deal to $222 million. Full no-trade clause. A massive haul.

Frank Seravalli

No #NHL player has earned $150 million over his entire career. A 34-year-old pitcher in deGrom gets $185 million for five years after playing just 38 games over the last three seasons. 🤯

The money in baseball is a pipe dream for hockey players.

I'm still a bit too busy to backread.

Nothing to rehash

All you need to know is that Eklund has two straight rumours of Canucks going to make a trade.

Breaking news....

I see Demko is out.

I'm still on board with moving any/all of Pearson, Myers, Garland, Boeser, JTM, Horvat.
Probably in that order.

It's warmed up a bit but a couple of days ago it was -30 night -20 day... yesterday -20 night -15 day and today it's -11. The ice on the inside of the windows is starting to melt....

I was ice fishing the small lakes before the cold snap. I'll give it a go again now that it's warmed up. Fishing was good before the temp drop but I heard it slowed down since.

Ate some delicious fresh Brook Trout the other day... going for Rainbows next. The Kokanee lakes are still a bit risky. Bigger deep lakes take longer to reach safe thickness.

I gather Canucks are playing Yotes tonight? There is some must see TV.

Rathbone wants out. All this excitement is overwhelming. At least Boeser sitting is a bit of news, I guess.

Isn't Puntzi a nice fishing spot for Kokanee?
