Nice, you've become a Neo Leftist!

It happens after your hero is picked on by an autistic teenager and then sent to a Romanian prison and having all of his property and cars seized.

Is that the same Hamhuis that everyone wanted traded but couldn't because of a full NTC?

Schnieder trade was a fiasco. The owner even flew to Roberto's home in Fla because Gillis couldn't trade the goalie that should have gone. He went to Plan B.

The Torres signing, I liked. Lapierre turned out to be a bust. Higgins trade is on par with the Pearson trade.

How aboout the Ballard trade? How about Carney for a second? This is exactlty what Benning did.

You can't possibly believe this.

Bills are crushing the Dolphins here. The fish need a big second half. Yes I know dolphins aren’t fish….twats.

Didn't Linden leave because he wanted to rebuild? Benning and him disagreed, FA chose Benning.
- Nucker101

Part of it is true. Unless you know what went on behind closed doors no one really knows if it was a stab in the back or FA asked Benning do you want to go also?

How long was Linder there? Five, six years?

I'm guilty of that, but I did change my mind once I figured out why he was let go
- Nucker101

I liked the Linden hire from day 1. Sure he may have been a figurehead of sorts but I have to believe that he had the clubs best interest in mind and it appears he always did.

We seem to be going in circles on what plan will work.

Just for laughs you’d think they try to acquire picks and prospects.

Thing is they think they are close as in fix the D and coaching for this team to compete.

Yup, that's why he's washed his hands from any Canuck functions. I bet he'd like his jersey taken down.

All I can go off of is what's being reported and just using my own logic even without the reports. Especially after witnessing the moves after he left.

Gillis hung a couple of banners in the process. The real damage was done by Benning. I doubt there's a GM out there that could undo the damage he did. But you're right, it will take a long time to dig out of Benning's hole. Probably longer than what you are willing to give this regime.

Benning hung a couple of banners also 33 and 22. Both have about the same value. Let me know when it is the SC banner.

@frank_seravalli Since 2011 the Canucks management has pushed a “retool on the fly” agenda on the fans. Clearly it is not working. The Canucks fan base is smart and tired of the incompetence that they have witnessed over the years. This team absolutely needs a major rebuild.

It doesn't really matter anyways. Linden was doing a terrible job also. I imagine there was some heated discussions with the 3 and the owner insisted on not rebuilding and Linden said go pound salt, Lets go Jim and benning said I like my job.

Canucks went from being hated to being a laughing stock and lovable losers that people feel bad for.

If we're going cupless, I'd rather be the former, not the latter. I loved having a team that could win games and piss off other teams while doing so.

If you truly feel that's the on same level as what we've witnessed over these past 7-8 years then that's fair enough. But I think the majority of us would rather be discussing what winger they need to acquire to play with Kesler to get us over the hump instead of talking about which of the 16 poop players to blame the most for another loss.

As I mentioned a couple years back, when I had a chance to talk with Gino, most of the alumni were pissed about the way they handled the Linden situation. It was definitely behind the back, bs, between a snake owner and a snake gm.
Sounded like Linden was about to fire Benning, but was overruled.

Linden definitely deserved blame, but if it went down as most of think it did, I respect him more than the other 2. He could've easily accepted his role as a yes man and collected another few million from FA

I really do believe it and am a little shocked you don't believe it. Pearson and Higgins are very comparable players in my opinion, and Ballard we had to use one of the buyouts that don't count against the cap.

Higgins and Pearson played a very similar style.
