I've always taken the approach that if it's not about hockey here, I just stop reading. I've probably missed some messed up stuff, but I equate it to those spammers in thescore app chats. Just noise and tis the way things are these days. I think moderators went the day of the dodo bird.

I will apologize for the derailment and will move back to Hockey. Just hilarious what the champs provide as they just can't leave sh!t alone when they don't get their way. Anyhoo...chat amongst yourselves another busy evening of not whining for 12 hours awaits. Cheers folks!!

Management won't rebuild, the players can force their hand. I'll wager Boeser isn't the only one who requested a trade. The feedback from players already traded like D*ckinson & Schmidt are not very flattering for this organization.

Schenn is a solid 6/7 dman on a good team, but the Canucks just suck so bad that here he's considered to be their most sound defensive dman
- Nucker101

Yeah see I'd take it a step further. I think he's more like a 7 or 8 ... probably 2 injuries away on a non-vancouver team. He makes a 'just ok' play most of the time, so he looks incredible out there on Vancouver. I think most teams with more mobile and outlet focused d-men are only putting him in during desperate times. Just my opinion. I liked him more early in the year but the more I watch him, the more it screams how bad this D core is.

Think he was regularly the extra guy in Tampa.

Ya Pearson has lost more than a step last couple years.

I know Schenn gets a lot of love since he is one of the few with some pride out there, but let's be honest he's no longer at the level where he's contributing for a winning team and bumping guys out. I think the Tampa run was the last time he does that.

Insurance policy at best, I think he gets us a 4th or 5th if anything ... especially in a deep draft. There are fleeter of foot guys out there with a physical edge and I don't think whoever is after his type is going to rely on all their physicality coming from the one player, as Vancouver does.

14pts in 41 games ain’t shabby.
League leader in hits.
Fights & stands up for team mates.
950k is great value

True, the value is there.

I just have a few memories in my head of his long pivot or turnaround and then just getting roasted to the outside.

Evidence? Even a shred?

He's not coming in here talking about sex with minors so I'm not sure what you're referring to.

Mak is on hiatus with Carol gone. LH is simply acting out pushing his conspiracy theories on all & anything. Cats away the mouse will play.

Yeah I guess he's on a mission to make this place truly unbearable to be in. I only drop by occasionally now but I might stop altogether if this is all this blog is now, there's no substance to it.

Michael Russo(MIN reporter/insider), says EP wants out. He rarely throws out rumours about other teams so I wonder if Brackett still has friends inside the organization and he leaked it to Russo or if EP is bois with Eriksson Ek who told Russo

Or maybe Bruce told him? He coached in Minny

That's why there is a forum, to discuss things that the broader audience may not want to participate in. Hence the suggestions to take things to the politics forum.

I noticed that happens more during 3rd periods or back-to-back games, I think he'd play a lot better with lower usage. He uses a lot of energy on most shifts with the way he plays, and he's no longer a spring chicken.

Kind of like....

A man gets sent to prison.

As soon as he walks in his cell, his huge, scary-looking cellmate (Bubba) says to him, "We're gonna play house. Do you want to be the mommy or the daddy?"

After thinking about it for a minute, the man slowly answers, "Well, if I have to choose, I guess I'll be the daddy."

"OK," his cellmate says, "then get over here and suck mommy's dick."

they asked about the Minny reporter rumour about EP and the agent didn't directly respond and say no but said that a lot of rumours are nothing and they can talk about July in an extension

If there was a trade that brought him here with one of our available forwards, i'd do it. Laf getting 1LW with EP here and PP1 would probably put him in the 70+ pts category. Something he won't get in NY. Last year he scored the majority of his 19 goals at 5v5 with 3rd line minutes.

Mandating is forced. Lots of companies did it.

Lose your livelihood/career you worked for your whole life or your sport/recreation/travel plans or get the shot.... is not choice. People can't afford that leaving them no choice. A huge percentage got shots because financially they had no choice. (Not a vaccine, basically a flu shot) What vaccine requires yearly boosters ..... and doesn't even stop transmission.

His most common line last season with Kreider-Zibanejad-Laf but he did play a lot with Chytil as well so those were his 3 most common linemates

This season he's played mostly on two lines
