Big game tonight

6-4 Tampa.

Bo with a pair, Kuzmenko and Boeser with the other 2.

- Reubenkincade

Is it Vasy or Elliot tonight? I’m thinking 2-1 Canucks with a gutsy effort, keeping the trade winds at bay.

I would think Canucks will mostly be seeing back up goalies, when playing against teams that have pretty much secured a playoff spot.

The Boston Bruins have scored the most goals and allowed the fewest, all while only having 1 player in the top 50, in scoring.
They could play .500 hockey the remaining 42 games and still end up at 110 points.

Pretty impressive, wouldn't you say?

You can tell Myers, etc are confused as to what is going on and they don't get set up for the draw. Puck drops and they are still trying to figure out where to line up. Wtf is Miller doing here? fvcking retard.

I think they lose badly, 6-1. Next four games are Lightning - Panthers - Hurricanes - Lightning….they lose all four and poops goin down! I love the turmoil, it’s like a great reality show watching the complete dysfunction and inaction.

Other thread coward.
- Marwood

So let me ask you something goof. Why should I change my schedule and thread-bounce because you deem it so? So you and the 5-6 clowns in the other thread can say the same sh!t day in-day out like you do in here? It's tiresome so I'll get there when I get there lil'champ. Just so I can read you all patting each other on your back spewing your bullsh!t narratives all day? We all get enough of that in here goof 24/7. I Often wonder what it is like waking up everyday and just spewing the same sh!t all the time...the same whining...what kind of a life is that? You angry? Some 'white man' did you wrong in the past and now you need your 'buddies' to validate it all? F
ucking sad little man you are dude.

Ya , it was bad.

As there didn't appear to be a benching for anyone, as a result of that play, I have to assume that the coaching staff must have agreed with Miller's on-ice coaching tactic.

We knock on alot of the D here but man Myers has been a dumpster fire all season. I know he's +3 right now but man he seems to be on the ice for alot of goals against. Could see a win tonight however.

A Drance tweet from this morning, maybe defence is more important than offence? Just sayin.

“Elias Pettersson leads all NHL forwards in 5-on-5 points rate this season (minimum 200 minutes played). Bo Horvat and Andrei Kuzmenko both rank in the top-15.

Unimaginable that so many #Canucks  players are filling the net like this and the team is still performing so poorly.”

“Boeser is also a top-20 NHL rate scorer.”

I agree it goes deeper, but I think Miller is a major problem. One of the biggest. Everything from giveaways, defensive awareness, setting a poor example and now sub-par offense for his contract. When a guy is given a contract like that and is made to be a major part of your future, you would think most of those 'intangibles' would improve or at least stay at acceptable level. The offense, I mean I don't think he ever gets close to 99 pts again, and wouldn't really need to if he made strides in any of the categories.
- Sayros

I agree with everything except sub par offence. He is still on pace for 72 pts, which gets players 8m+ these days.

That is interesting, but would like to have more than just the points scored, while at full and even strength, like what rate are they being scored upon, while at full and even strength?

I remember hearing in here, that Bo wasn't good at getting points in these situations, yet here he sits in the top 15, go figure.

CTV reporter collapses on air, another basket ball player went down, 18 year old female MMA star gone. What's alarming is the normalization of it all. That's the scary part. Folks know there is something wrong and don't want to address it. Nothing to see. There is another term for it now 'Medical Coincidence'. Unreal.
- LordHumungous

And my grandma, who has no auto immune system at all, is fine after 4 shots. A simple cold can kill her, let alone Covid killing her. Next your going to say "A seemingly healthy person got a vaccine 2 months ago and now has cancer, wake up sheeple" or something like that. Vaccines aren't perfect and can definitely cause health issues. The polio vaccine isn't even perfect. But i'll take .1% (just throwing a number out there cause one will never exist) people dying to a vaccine than 3% of people dying to the actual virus. It's a simple numbers game.
Q-Anon morons like bettmanhatesus will always find something to fit their narrative, despite no evidence to support it.

Kuzmenko - EP - Mikheyev has been one of the top lines in the league this year, and easily the Canucks best line, why does he always break it up?

Looks like Mikheyev will be placed on a line, more suitable to his talent and OEL should be sitting.
I guess Bo has finally got Boeser playing to a level that Pouty is okay accepting him on his line.

Maybe Bruce is trying to distribute defensive responsibility?

I was more interested as OEL skating with Burroughs.

Yeah Tampa gearing up for their annual 2nd half flick the switch. Nice juicy opponent in Van to really feast on.

Spencer Martin gotta be getting tired too. You can see it. It's nice they found a very capable backup but he's hardly played in NHL before let alone been handed the reigns. The fact that they didn't sign or trade for someone with experience when TD went down should probably have told us they gave up on season already. Same reason for keeping BB, FA probably didn't want to pay another coach if season was lost. I hold out hope they see what we see and it just is really hard to make trades these days during first stretch of the year ... just nothing happening anywhere. Add to the fact they're dealing from an immense point of weakness - when the dominos do fall look for the returns to be incredibly underwhelming compared to the deals thrown around here. I think we'll have to dig deep for the positive as they're finally doing something, not look too much into the returns and just hope they get a couple picks .... and don't retain or take on too much salary. Apathy.
