12g 13a for 25 pts in 37 games. That pace is 55.4 pts over 82 games. He also has positive 5v5 stats. at 4.7m he was actually a really good pick up for the team so far. Your assessment is rather lacking for Ilya. Dermott... I haven't seen him play so I can't say he was or wasn't worth a 3rd in a weak draft. and Stillman sucks, if we are paying a 2nd to dump whats his face, why do we need to take back 1.35m?
- Retinalz

Yeah Mik is good guess now he’s a luxury. Trade him?

My only guess on Stillman is they thought he was young enough to try out being short on D at the time. He’s been good for the tank.

I would take a chance on the Bruins 2024 1st. No deal yet for Pasternak, Bergeron could call it quits. They could be taking a last kick at the can before another quick retool.

Boston and Washington are who I was thinking.

Not sure if I am wording my comments properly, because one or 2 people are going down a different avenue than what I am saying, when responding to my comments.

Turnovers have always been recorded brutally. I haven’t bothered looking at those stats in years.
- Nucker101

It's pretty obvious when you look at the stats and one team has 5 take aways and the other team has 0 giveaways.

Miller
Horvat
Kuzmenko
Demko
Pearson
Garland

If the Canucks don’t have at least 3 first round picks in this draft.

- 1970vintage

They are not looking for picks they claim. They said this a couple of times at least.

Gotta love Martin Biron when talking about how Canucks line up defensively for a faceoff.

This is pee wee level stuff.

yup, playoffs are still the goal for next season, even if they acquire picks, you'll likely see a Hamonic-Dermott scenario play out.

Yeah, Caps are another good option. Penguins, could also implode in a couple years.

It was never said age gap trades. Dermott for a 3rd is low risk.
Stillman no argument here.
Studnicka for MDP a win.
Bear/Pederson for a 5th 😂
It’s 4.75m for Miky who is not the problem when you have Boeser & Garland dragging the F lines down.
50+ pt pace +4 isn’t bad. BS called.

- Nighthawk

No, you might be right, they may not have said age gap, I think they called it a gap in age.
Anyways, I am not going to repeat comments several times over when commenting, as I assume people are following along with the previous comments, which are tied together, whether mentioned by myself, or someone else.
If you think signing Mikheyev, while having Boese Nagaland on your roster, then it sort of makes at least 1 of those players redundant, so someone should have been moved beforehand, maybe.

Canucks lined up for faceoff, Myers in the middle in front of goalie, after JT wanted to be along boards, which is usually where a defenseman goes, the draw goes right to where opposition centre
Wanted it to go, after cleanly winning the draw, which is where Miller originally lined up to take the shooter at the top of faceoff circle.

Anyways, he then said

This is pee wee level stuff, in reference to not even being able to figure out how to line up properly.

Once again, JTMiller trying to coach the team on the ice.

I doubt any of those 3 teams give a shit where the 1 round pick is next year or the year after, 3 solid teams with an aging core, who have just as good, if not better chance than half the teams that will make the playoffs.

Edit, meant to quote your comment above this one.

Canucks probably view them as fellow SC contending rivals during these next 2-3 years. Can't make them stronger.

I'd need a video to get a better picture, but that does sound pathetic. JTM seems to be letting his 99pt season get to his head. Sounds like this was a defensive zone draw. Is BB in charge of how they line up and where they go, or is that Yeo since it is a D Zone draw? Either way, Miller should not really be on for D zone draws if we can avoid it.

Yes defensive zone draw, Miller wanted to lineup where no one from opposition was lined up against him. I seen this during the game, but they never showed a good highlight after, so it was hard to tell exactly what transpired.
Miller is such a knob.

Miky is a step in the right direction. The problem is the others going in the wrong direction & their cap hits.

I choose Myers & Garland gone. Boeser if not a dump. 2-3 of those frees up tons of cap. Resign Bo. Kuz & Schenn while the market is hot for them. Resign Kuz is a great plan ‘B’. All of that would suffice for 1 year of change.

Unless it’s right after a TV timeout, it’s the C on the ice directing traffic, the coaches have no influence, other than what they work on in practice. It’s possible that the team is coached to do that, I have no idea as I’m not at practice.

I remember that. It's not the first time he's bossing teammates around.
I hope Schenn pummels him in front of the home crowd.
And they're choosing to 'retool' around him.
