If he plays with Pettersson he’ll get 80+ points easily.

L Schenn is worth a first or a good prospect, just oozes leadership and character, and stills plays a steady good game

Pettersson wins the face of cleanly, Miller jumps towards the net instead of holding his guy up and the Jets get the puck and proceed up the ice. That’s exactly how you don’t draw it up.

C'mon man, no one expected EP to win a face off, JT just trying to get a jump on getting the puck back

EP has been doing a lot of little things great lately, just that period there were two shifts where the OEL-Myers pair was about to turnover the puck against the Jets aggressive forecheck and he bailed them out.

Like their last shift, Myers was getting pressured near the circle in his own end, OEL instead of getting himself open for Myers stood on the other side of the net deep in the zone, meaning Myers either had to beat an incoming forechecker by himself while standing still or try to risk a turnover by ringing it around behind his own net to OEL. He lost the puck, but EP recognized the play and grabbed the puck before the Jets could instead of just standing in his position like most forwards team do.

These guys do this shit all game, every game, I have to believe that maybe it is drawn up this way, defying all hockey basics.

I like Schenn but I think you might be basing your opinion on comparing him to the rest of the D. 2nd at the most.

Schenn is a 6th defenseman at best.

I would not trade him for a 2nd, I would resign him to lead and continue the " culture " makeover this team needs

He’ll still get a 2nd, GM’s over pay at tdl

I thought Bowness might change the Jets playstyle with Rittich in net, but they still send two guys in on the forecheck, with a 3rd sometimes even lurking below the hashmarks even when they were leading in this game.

I mean for a contending team, a late 2nd might be worth it, he's a plug and play type of guy on your bottom pairing since he knows his limitations and plays within them. isn't prone to (frank) ups.

Oh he’s got Sutter drool all over him! Treliving hands out draft picks like smarties at the Tdl.
If traded to the Flames he’d be able to tune Miller in.
