Rumor of Boeser heading to Boston LOL...that would be so beautiful for Reuby.

The return for Miller is Cap dump territory. I doubt the Canucks need to add, but think 2nd or 3rd round pick. If they take back a bloated contract maybe they get a prospect as well.
- 1970vintage

I don't think NHL teams see things the way the average NHL fan does. Someone will see value in what he does. Teams compartmentalize value, they don't see it in a broad spectrum like fans do. If he can provide a service they think their team is missing and will help them compete for a Cup, he'll find a suitor. If Allvin is able to eat some salary or take back an undesirable contract I think a deal can easily be made.

It's close but not McDavid style generational just yet. Kid will be a stud though. How about Peter Forsberg however he had the record with 31 points for the WJHC wow. Bedard had 23 points fore the tourney to put it in perspective.

Meh, wingers aren’t great tank commanders. Bad goalies or dmen are way better. The Hawks when Mrazek/Soderblom start are 4-20-3 this season

Canucks need Horvat traded, with Stillman and Myers playing every night. Tell Demko to take his time coming back

Man the rumored deal of Fiala for Boeser straight up would look good now, people over value players here too much

Minny never wanted to do that. It was more of a Canucks fanbase/media generated rumour.

But yes we do overrate our players

The Kraken are a mediocre team of castoffs and ahead of the Canucks with a better prospect pool.

Myers is our top plus minus Dman again this year. Maybe pick someone worse at defending.

You haven’t said anything different from what I said…

His value was high at $5m, setting a career high in points and with 1 year left. Now, he is mired in controversy about work ethic etc, is about to start a 7 year $56m contract with a NTC and he’s back to career normal point production (which is still good).

If traded (which I doubt) I bet the return would be Nate Schmidt, Andre Burakovsky like. Yes, you get something back, but it’s not a first, plus an “A” prospect and a “B” prospect.

I wonder if the Canucks could trade Miller and retain salary on only the current deal, making him very cheap for this playoff run, but then full price starting next year. That could actually increase his value a bit, giving teams up against the cap this year an opportunity to add him, and time to figure out next year in the summer.

They’re going to have to make moves that Jake them uncomfortable. Seems like they’re hoping to get offered fair deals even though they’re the ones who are in a position of weakness. They’ll either be left standing and stuck with this team or have to make some trades that are controversial
