The conversations in here are on a 3 page loop. Same comments, followed by the same replies, rinse and repeat... over and over. A broken record by the band Ground Hog Day.

it was the same when Carol posted, except now it's just more obvious when the mega thread

I know most people are anti-HF

But this is a good post over there since the main debate on that board lately has been about trading for young NHL roster players versus trading for "magic beans" as some like to call them(picks/prospects)

Was he traded as an ELC UFA? I thought Chicago had him on second contract at time of trade. And they heavily lost that trade.
- Retinalz

You know I thought he was there for 2 years but maybe it was 4. Then traded.

More later maybe, it seems I have to go clean the house since I'm about to have a dozen plus people stay the night. Sister in law has decided she's coming to town and is inviting everyone she knows to come hang out at my house.

My wife's 30th bday today and we made plans, invited who she wanted and such but now her sister aka the center of the universe has now decided we are going to do what she wants but is going to surprise it on her sister.

I'm starting to get annoyed at the sis in law and she hasn't even started to make the couple hour drive yet.

Interesting work. Well done.
Using the 2010 nhl draft, as a starting point, might not have been the best place to start, as 11 of 30 1st round picks, were busts.
I couldn't access some of that info, for some reason, but was a fringe nhl player considered a tweener type?

You don't know her sister. It's literally up in the air until she is half way here. The plan could change 2 more times before she gets here.

Wife and I made a plan. I threw a few things out, it was discussed and plan was made to what she would like best. At no point was the sister in law involved or even coming, until she decided about 3 hours ago.

Now we are doing what the sister in law wants, for her sisters birthday.

Any wiser or older man most likely would have just killed the sister in law after 11 years or knowing her.

Needs are different between bottom teams and top teams or teams that have 2nd draft picks.

Well being a mid round pick that’s already a bust is no surprise lol.

It’s amazing how much some want picks and yet they are not patient for their development.

I don’t have any. But you can have fun believing that. Its amusing at how smart you make yourself out to be. Like you have all the answers and know better. I am just a stupid Canuck follower from and living in Europe. I don’t know more then the next poster and just hope the team improves.

Top teams can show more patience & not rush prospects. Developing properly is for the better long term. Better rosters create more competition. No entitlement. Promotions based on a lousy NHL roster puts prospects in a position to fail way more often than not. Some players are busts & some are forced into busts.
